Bobby & Jake 100%
As a manager of 6 separate businesses, it was important to me to have as much streamlined as possible, and the utilities was one of by biggest headaches.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with both Bobby and Jake whilst I moved all our businesses over, not only did we get much better deals that I did not have the time to look for, their service has been great alongside helping me leaving other suppliers.
Highly recommend you speak to either of these lads to help organise your fuel supplies and save you some money!

Very positive experience

Jake was extremely helpful in setting up my electric for my new business. He was really clear and explained thoroughly about everything, to insure I had a real grasp of all the details and knew everything going forward. The fact his service didn’t cost me a signal penny was also a great added bonus. 10/10 service, thanks again Jake

Dodgy scam - avoid!
I was cold called by this business and told they were responsible for informing new businesses about who their energy supplier is.
They recommended we sign up with BES Utilities as our supplier for a 48 month contract as this was the best value deal available for us.
They wanted me to sign the deal straight away but of course I said I'd like to do my own research first.
I googled and found the owner of BES and a number of others connected to the company were jailed for fraudulent activities - for cold calling businesses and deceiving them into long-term contracts.

Firstly, we would like to make it clear that we are not a “dodgy scam”, we are a legitimate company.
These kinds of comments can be very harmful to a small business like us, especially when we pride ourselves on what we do. Your comment is highly unprofessional given that you are a business, and a charity organisation. It is also disappointing to find that Trustpilot approve of such defamatory comments.
You aren’t actually a customer of ours which makes the review even more frustrating. We merely discussed quotes with you over the phone, which were then emailed to you for reference. We would not have expected you to enter a contract there and then. Had you have been happy with the quote, the usual process for the energy supplier you subsequently took a dislike to, would have been to email you the contract to e-sign. You would also have had a telephone call with the supplier to make sure you fully understood the terms and was happy to proceed.
We understand your concerns about BES Utilities past owner and would like to make it clear we had no connection or involvement with them at that time. They since have new ownership and are understandably under the spotlight and everything is rigorously checked.
We had 1 telephone call with yourself in which we discussed quotes. If you didn’t like the quotes/supplier provided you could of simply not accepted it, but you chose to make slanderous comments about our company on here.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for supplying us with your telephone number. We have had a check of our telephone dialing system and can see that you was called twice on the 25/04/2024 by 2 different agents, but off the same phone number. Unfortunately the second call was made before our admin team had chance to update the Do Not Call List, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Please be aware, there are other companies out there similar to ours, but not affiliated with ourselves. That may be where you're getting calls from. Some of those companies can be persistent, but we have no control over those companies.
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and have only recently joined Trustpilot to help build our reputation. So we are sad to find a 1 star review.
Please be assured that your number is on our Do Not Call List so any other calls you may be receiving are not from ourselves.

Fabulous service and it hasn’t cost me a penny
Jake has been outstanding. So friendly and helpful. He managed to help me find the best deal which now saves me money, he sorted it all out for me and it hasn’t cost me a penny. I would highly recommend to anybody. Fabulous service! Thank you Jake.

1st Class Service
I cannot rate the service that I have received from Bobby at 1st Business Connections highly enough.
I am having an absolutely ridiculous amount of trouble trying to leave the current energy supplier ( they won't let me take over from the previous occupant although there is not any debt?) but Bobby is taking care of all of this for me, I just sit back and let him do it.
Fantastic service, highly recommended

Bobby was so friendly and helpful, I really couldn’t have asked more of him . I feel he went above and beyond his duties as I was having problems with a previous energy company and Bobby did his upmost to get me a better deal . He kept in constant contact with me and kept me informed of the progress of changing companies. I was very impressed by his customer service and would recommend to anyone
