The installer showed up on time
The installer showed up on time, was very friendly, polite and professional. Installed the stairlift, tested it and show me how to use it. He did a great job and we are very happy, thank you.

I very much appreciated how the company kept my measurements, etc. as my mother changed her mind back and forth over several years. I also appreciate how quickly they got the stairlift installed.
I will say the stairlift is a bit slow and makes a lot of noise. I'd also recommend some way of carrying things up and down--a cupholder? That may sound silly, but people need water, etc. We're adjusting with a bottle of water in a backpack, but just thinking.

Never regret getting an Acorn stairlift!
The representative who came to do a free estimate for the home was a wonderful, polite gentleman who was extremely informative with his demonstration, and he also was patient with our many questions. At no point did my mother or I feel as though we were being pressured into installing an Acorn system, and he helped us out tremendously. The man who installed the system was very nice and he did a terrific job putting in the stairlift, and he was very respectful of us and the home. He was even kind enough to vacuum up the sawdust and other debris created during installation, even though I offered to do it for him. Couldn't have asked for better treatment from ordering to installation. I can't tell you how much stress has been relieved knowing that I won't find my grandmother or mother at the bottom of the steps injured from a fall walking down the steps again. it's worth getting the stairlift just for that. I know for certain that at least one fall has been prevented since the stairlift has been installed and hard telling how much pain and misery has been avoided.
