DO NOT UNDER *ANY* CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

I gave around $300 to various democratic candidates through ActBlue during the last election cycle. Since then, I have been receiving AT LEAST five fundraising texts A DAY from Democratic candidates since the election ended. I reply STOP for every message, and it does nothing because ActBlue SELLS your contact information to political campaigns. So my phone number is ALREADY out there and LITERALLY the only way to get the texts to stop will be to get a new phone number. For all I know, they're STILL selling my information.

Do not donate through Act Blue. It will start a never ending supply of spam to you via text and email. I donated to them more than 5 years ago and continue to receive daily spam. There appears to be no way to stop it other than changing your phone number and email address.

I too no longer support anyone / anything via ActBlue.
If i am motivated to support a candidate or cause, i contribute directly, via check.

Great company, and in my years of using them for political donations, I’ve had a reassuring transparent relationship.

Act Blue totally sucks! I just cancelled my Act Blue account. Every time I donate to a candidate, I get endless spam - texts, emails and phone calls. I have found other ways to contribute to candidates, using their physical addressed printed on the bottom of their websites. I've written to this obnoxious company tp ask them to stop spamming me. They claim they don't sell our personal information to anybody who asks. Act Blue is lying.

I don't trust that I am really funding the cause I think I am funding. This is proving to be a slush fund for Democratic candidacy. If I want to give to the democratic party, I will. Don't sell me on saving whales (or whatever) when I am really donating to a candidate for office

I am a life long Democrat and I’ve been donating to democrats for the last 30 years. I donated to the Harris campaign through act blue recurring 150 a month for the duration of the campaign is the option I chose to end at the election but act blue kept withdrawing money out of my account after the election which I bought a couple months after. I thought this was kinda sleazy of them considering my generous donations. Now I’m being harassed receiving up to 4 to 5 texted a day on my phone from democrats all over the country I reply stop on everyone of them and the never stop I have contacted act blue customer service at least 10 times or more and I get no reply from them. No one does anything and I just continue every day to get these harassing emails even though I pushed stop on every one of them and they just continue this on top of all the other Robo calls I miss half of my calls that are text that I’m actually supposed to get because I get so many so I would say don’t leave any of your information to act blue if you don’t wanna be harassed my name is James hopefully act blue

I've contacted ActBlue repeatedly for refund of DUPLICATE charge plus $3 fee without any response! They've repeatedly double-charged me in the past and it's such a hassle that I've let it go, but I can't afford this! Moreover, the charges are NEVER shown on my account! Talk about an unprofessional mess. Add that they sell your information so you get bombarded with texts and emails from every candidate under the sun! I'm DONE with ActBlue! This is the payment I get for wanting to defend Democracy! What a ripoff bunch these guys are! Shame on you! People are trying to do the right thing and you rip us off. As my dad would say, I'm SO GD mad!

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about them. Of course they'll share your number with Dem candidates. For everyone I got, and there were many, I just replied STOP. Eventually I out STOPed them. They process your donation effectively and when I contacted them to stop a reoccurring donation, there was no hassle. I thought they worked just fine.

I donated to you ONCE back in the day. Now ou will not leave me alone, aside from trying to trick me so that I'll sign up for your crap again.

And it won't be your typical legal action. I can be such a pain in the butt from my couch you won't believe it. You don't want me to go take this to legal people I know who are bigger than you. And I seriously have my choice of who I can go to. I might just go to all of em.

I'm smart and powered by spite and healthy desire to be left alone. You particular assholes are nearly bad as trump, you're just using a different color pallete.

And I have people who will help me fillout and distribute the letters who are just buddies as well.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE people. I regret havin ever given via this service. They share your number with everyone. You will be harassed!! Unsubscribing does not work. Honestly one of the many reason I am no longer a democrat. They are just dishonest and abusive.

Act Blue is a convenient way to make donations. However, they gave or sold my information to EVERYONE, and it has taken me over a year of unsubscribing multiple times and blocking MANY accounts via text and email to get a small break. And still, about an hour ago, I got another text plea for $$. If the candidate didn't use ActBlue, I would donate to him, but I don't want to start yhat all over again.

They give or sell your info to anyone in their democratic party. I'm an independent voter that didn't want a an incompetent fool as a president. I gave them my information, including my phone number, which was a big mistake. So, I deleted my account, but that does not stop them and their candidates. I'm thinking of changing my number.

Annoying. We lost. Face facts. Jack Smith has walked away. That’s a definite sign to lower your head and get thru the next 4 years as safely as possible.
I have requested that no further texts be sent to me and they keep coming.

They send me hundreds of text messages and say "to cancel, text "STOP" or "Stop2End", and then they send MORE messages just from new numbers over and over and over ...

I cannot stop my weekly donation to ActBlue because I can only do it via an emailed receipt. But I haven't received any receipts from them, and no they are not in my Spam folder. I put in a help request and got an instant response along with a ticket number. That was 5 days ago and I haven't heard from them since. I have absolutely no trust in an outfit that makes it extremely easy for you to give them money, and almost impossible for you to stop giving. I will never EVER give money to this organization again. And I might just file a complaint to my state's attorney general's office.

I am not getting a response to requests for a refund of an unintentional recurring donation. I sent 3 emails to the designated site, and left a voice mail on their automated system, and have not heard back from anyone since my first request submitted om 11/13. It is now 11/22. They are not living up to their promise of refuning donations made in error.

I have been a life long Democrat but am changing to be a Republican. I want to belong to a party that supports Israel and that isn’t the Democrats.

I have used ActBlue for about 8 years. I consider myself kind of an expert on it. However, there are some aspects that need more development:
Contribution Forms for buying dinner event tickets (e.g., specifying the choice of a dinner should be a separate field so I can use the delivered field for other data collection).
Contribution forms for event tickets (e.g., a delivered field to specify guests names). Form Statistic Reports could use some enhancements to provide more data.
Over the time I have used ActBlue, you have made some very useful enhancements - I hope you continue on this path.
Last, our expert Regional Support person (Cristina Orth) took another AB position during this election season and, apparently, was never replaced. I have really missed her knowledge and advice when creating new forms for various fundraising purposes. Can you clone her?
