I find it unethical that Act Blue automatically continues to withdraw campaign donations after the election is over. That was not the original understanding. Disgusting.

ActBlue was easy to use, secure, fast. My major complaint is that EVERY survey lead to the donation page, with no option to say "not today".

There should be back buttons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There were not enough choices for some questions.
I could have checked highest education
tech school
associate degree
and Bachelors degree

They don’t care about candidate quality, they just want to know how to suck more money out of you.

actblue securely saves info and makes it easy to donate

I wanted to donate to the Swifties4Kamala fund from the UK but they are asking for all my personal contact information plus my passport number, which they do not need for a donation! Now reading the reviews I’m glad my spidy senses went off. It looks like they are not secure, demure or very mindful. Vote BLUE Y’all!! GA Voter in UK 🇬🇧

I have NEVER had any involvement with ActBlue and yet I get 2-3 text message a day begging for money to fund mega rich politicians in Washington. I have unsubscribed to EVERY text, reported them as spam. sent them emails pleading for them to stop and have even filed a complaint with the FCC and still I get the texts. Is there no way to stop these idiots!?! This has been going on for months...

Do not give to ACTBLUE. They take unauthorized transactions out of your credit card, and there is no way to stop them. They do not respond to calls or emails. Horrible to work with.

ActBlue doesn’t require a CVV to be entered so anyone who sees the front of your credit card can use the numbers to make a fraudulent charges/donation. I’ve never used this site but my credit card info was used to make donations to multiple campaigns under multiple names. I canceled that credit card and they were still able to charge payments to the new card. There is no phone number to contact ActBlue and the online contact they allow has not been helpful in rectifying this problem.

I sign a petition. Daily Kos spams me with newsletters. I unsunscribe. It stops until I respond to a text or sign another petition. The flood of donation request texts come. I attempt to unsubscribe by the method included in the text. Nothing happens. I try variations: stop, STOP, stop2end, etc. No response. I file a SPAM report with the FCC. They change the method to use subscribe. End instead of stop. Use this link instead of End. It doesn't stop. We should get together and file a group harassment complaint with the FCC and our State Attorneys General. If this was a company or a non-profit NGO, it would most likely be handled as harassment.

To top this all off, I'm not a Democrat. I don't donate money to either party. The TOP (formerly the GOP, now Trump's Own Party) stopped when I unsubscribed.

I sent in a one time donation of nine dollars. They are taking out nine dollars every two weeks out of my account. I did not give them authority to do that and the only way I can Stop them from taking my money. I got to change my debit card, which is real inconvenient for me.

I ordered merchandise through Act Blue on July 25 supporting Kamala Harris. It is now October 14 and I did receive a refund, which meant that the Harris for President didn't get the money intended for them. They said they would be sending the merchandise anyway, but I still have not received it.

I see many negative reviews about ActBlue but they are legit. CALL (617)517-7600 ActBlue Customer Service with problems.

People, I will say I read every word before donating and take your time. Just like buying anything online or doing a subscription you have to pause read the small print. I've never had a one time donation changed or flipped to a subscription on actblue. If for some reason I think I missed something I will STOP and start over. From past elections, I know actblue will keep sending text messages so I put each new number under the SAME contact name "$$$Actblue donations", so when the texts come in they mostly go to the same place. Look democrats must win, when I have a few extra dollars I scroll back to some campaigns and donate a "one time donation." V.P. Harris needs congress and the Senate to really get anything done. This election is about maintaining democracy and major corporations and big billionaires are funding the republicans. In the long run this is for our country, for democracy and if we can help with $3 to another campaign it does make a difference. The likes of politicians like Ted Cruz- TX needs to go. This election will effect your children and your children's children. Don't get frustrated, do get your refunds if necessary.

I donated to Harris campaign using ActBlue and immediately afterwards my phone has been constantly bombarded with voice and text messages for every campaign in the country. It never stops. If you want to donate, please find anyway except do not use ActBlue. I regret ever using their site. Find another way.

When I looked a little deeper into how, where and, "Your money will be matched 3X's (or __X's) your donation.." proof that it was matched, I was extremely disappointed to find out that ACTBLUE ADDS ON ALMOST 4% for what.. I don't know.
Also, I could NOT find anywhere to CONTACT ActBlue live. I would like to know who is matching, if possible, proof that it WAS matched. The matching dollars is WHY I donate a lot of the time. I really want the Democrats to win! I'm really scared of the alternative. Sincerely, M.Benson

Being asked for a tip while I’m making a donation is a total turn off. Twice left the page without donating at all. I’ve gone ahead and simply donated without the tip. But at least with a bad feeling to be asked for a tip when I’m donating. It would be different if I was asked to help administrative expenses, but that’s not what you’re asking, I’m not sitting down at a restaurant and I don’t tip when I’m donating money

Several months ago my wife made a one-time contribution to ActBlue. She specified that it was a one-time contribution. We were later surprised with a subsequent charge for a recurring contribution, Once again, she indicated to ActBlue that we did not authorize a recurring contribution. Surprisingly, we just received another bill for the (still recurring!) fees. To add insult to injury, they include an additional tip. They are either magicians who can turn a contribution into a subscription, or just plain thieves. We decided to cancel our credit card in order to avoid yet another charge from them. Think twice before using them unless you don't mind paying in perpetuity.

LOVE my candidates, and want to support them. ActBlue sells my info, a dozen urgent pleas from every single race every day, via text and email. EVERY unsubscribe, stop, block request is ignored. It's a dark practice, stop with this.

I will stop donating using ActBlue, unless it's anonymous, or I'm using a fake phone # (or one of my enemy). It's super disappointing that such great candidates are using ActBlue for donations. No more.
