ActBlue Avis 

I have been an act blue contributor for the last two elections. I’ve read many of the comments in the other reviews and agree with everyone of the bad ones. I have now attempted for at least a month to contact anyone at AL. No one ever gets back to me and they did the same thing to me as too many of the others out there They changed the choice that it used to be that when you hit a donation say $50 It was monthly and I used to give per month but the last time it went I gave $100 when Harris was nominated. I wanted $100 per month and it put $100 per week and I could never get anyone that could help me fix that so I had to withdraw my credit card out of act blue, and now have no way of contributing to anyone , very unhappy no service no responses of any kind. Have no idea who the people are now act blue and it’s really too bad because if I’m only one of all of the hundreds of others that are writing negative reviews for act blue that isn’t gonna help Harris waltz get elected , really really bad

Despite their insistence that you can't accidentally sign up for reoccurring payments on their vague an disingenuous page, apparently they've been debiting for several months.

I have been making donations for years and get a receipt via email instantaneously. ActBlue has a phone number for Customer Service. The area code looks like Boston, Massachusetts: (617)517-7600. Leave your name, call back number and detailed message.

I regret using ActBlue and am reminded multiple times per day what a huge mistake it was. The sell your information to EVERYONE. I am utterly appalled that this is allowed. I hope the complaints against them are handled appropriately and the platform is shut down. It's such a disgusting con.

The web site takes me directly to a Harris donation form and gives me no option to go to a search page. I tried interacting with their poorly implemented BOT, which kept recycling me to a page to donate to them just to try to help them fix a serious web site issue. It's almost enough to make me donate to a Republican, but I guess I will try to find some other way to donate to the Democrat of my choice.

Was very easy to use will be using to support candidates in tight races I live in Louisiana so I spend my. Money were I can make a difference in battle ground states instead in in Louisiana that is all gerrymandering to dis-enfranchise voters

Act like continues to harass me after I have asked them to stop and remove me from their lists. I have asked several times with no results.

I made a one time donation to a candidate for $18. They charged me $18 and created an additional donation for 1,800 and made it reoccurring weekly! Getting help from Actblue was practically impossible and never being able to reach a breathing human being was arduous and painful. I did finally get them to cancel the charges. How can this be legal?

Act blue charged me weekly recurring fees for a candidate, when I signed up for a one-time donation. Believe the reviews. This outfit cheats. Donate directly to the candidate.

Donating to a cause is easy and I know the money is going towards the right purpose.
Be aware, however, that your email and personal information WILL BE SHARED with other similar groups or organizations. You will then receive solicitations via email and text, which you can stop, block or unsubscribe from.
You should be given the opportunity to opt-out OR opt-in to sharing your information… that is the main problem with ActBlue

They continue to harass my 10 year old son regarding donations. They violate the do not call register. Leave my kid alone.

The experience of donating was easy. The aftermath of mountains of spam in terms of calls, texts and email has been a horrifying nuisance. I'll never donate to another political entity if this is how they treat my information. Vote. Don't donate.

Straight-forward and easy process. The negative reviews are fake review-bombing to try to scare people into not donating. As always, do your research, and make sure you read everything carefully (ie do not check box for monthly donations unless you actually want to donate monthly, text Stop to stop receiving unwanted messages etc. )

These people are a scam….don’t donate. Just like the Party…..asking a lot and giving back a little…in this case nothing. You can even unsubscribe for their emails.

ActBlue charged my account for an additional transaction that I didn't sign up for. I made a one time donation to Kamala the month previous and didn't ask for any recurrence. There isn't any way to get in touch with ActBlue. There sight is just a runaround with no end. I had to cancel my card for fraud and now wait for a new one and all the customers that I pay now have to be changed. This is not a way to get my vote.

Made a one time donation to Harris Walz and I’ve been charged 3 times in 10 days.

Donated to Harris-Walz campaign & bought items from their “store” which have yet to be shipped. All attempts to get information have been unsuccessful.

Made a donation in 2012 to Obama and now for over a decade I receive non-stop texts begging for money from what seems like every Democrat running for office. It’s Act Blue Spam-a-Palooza. During election years, the texts flow in several times a day. Sadly, there have been Democratic campaigns to which I’d liked to have donated, (looking at you, Ruben Gallego) but I am never, ever using Act Blue again.
