Replacement of invertor
The original contact to view the situation re a battery was helpful and informative. The appointment for the work needed was made on the day and the men turned up as arranged. Both men were courteous, friendly and got on with the job without fuss and ensured i had no questions before leaving. I was then phoned promptly by the office, payment received and future possible business discussed with no pressure.

Couldn't be happier
Excellent company to deal with, communication was spot on and price of the system was very reasonable. Electrician arrived and he advised on routes for cables and equipment, nothing fazed him and he left a first class finish. Great experience and I'm really happy with the system overall.
Would defo recommend to others, solar is a minefield and I found that this was the only company that provided honest data and expectations rather than blatant bull that a few others came out with. I definitely feel comfortable with my investment thanks to the service and trust in AJ Renewables

Edited - 2nd cold call from these guys
Just had another call from these guys, again talking about solar/battery storage. I let the guy talk for a minute or two, because at least this time he didn't lie about it being a survey. Explained I'm not interested and said I want my details removed from the database they have purchased. He said he would speak to their data manager in the next 5 minutes and remove my name/number. Here's hoping this time they do it.
Update - I just checked and I'm still registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so by cold calling me this company are risking a £6500 fine.
EDIT - Its interesting to see the reply from this company. They claim to be registered with the ICO, and yet this means they are legally required to check numbers against the Telephone Preference Service lists every 28 days. My number has been registered with that service for a number of years, so by their own admission they have broken the law!

Hi Andy,
Thanks again for taking the time to share your concerns, and we’re truly sorry to hear you've had a second unwanted call — we completely understand how frustrating that must be.
We take TPS compliance and data protection extremely seriously. While we work with trusted third-party partners for lead generation, we expect all data provided to us to be fully compliant with GDPR and TPS regulations. Clearly, something has gone wrong in this instance, and we’re investigating it as a matter of priority.
We appreciate you letting our team member know you wished to be removed, and we can confirm that your details are now being permanently removed from our system and any associated third-party databases within our control.
Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll be using it to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Great battery installation
Great battery installation by AJRenewables, David who did the survey was very knowledgeable and not pushy, such that I felt comfortable to sign up during his visit. Very short time to wait for the installation. The 2 Shauns that carried out the installation were descent guys, very pleasant and mannerly and very tidy and did a good job. I had a couple of minor issues relative to the exact positioning of the cable monitors but one call to Kelly and Jordan came up and quickly fixed the problem. System working well and able to charge the batteries with a combination of economy 7 power and from the solar panels so all good. Very happy with the installation and service from AJ Renewables.

I made an enquiry online to have a…
I made an enquiry online to have a solar system installed and received a number of quotations including one from AJ Renewables courtesy of Lee. After giving all quotations due consideration we elected to go with another company for reasons known only to us. I received a phone call this morning from Lee and I advised him that we had made our decision and that unfortunately it was not going to be his quotation. He then proceeded to attempt to grill me on why we had gone with the other company which was a discussion I was not comfortable being involved with. He also made various references to accreditations which his company hold almost suggesting the competition would not have these. More significantly he stated the only reviews which could be trusted would come from Trustpilot, ironic when I studied them and found that AJ Renewables have their fair share of negative reviews. I found Lee to be very pushy and not really seeing the experience from the potential customers point of view.
Update
I have spoken now with the owner of AJ Renewables and also with Lee. We have agreed that it may not have been the best experience but we can now move on.

Full solar installation with battery storage
I would highly recommend AJ renewables for a solar installation. My whole experience was excellent from start to finish and a very professional company. The initial consultation and quote was a video call where everything was clearly explained. Lee was really knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They then carried out a site survey, which again was very professional and everything about the install explained. The install itself was complete within a day with the scaffolding arriving and set up the day before. All the tradesmen involved in the install were professional and friendly and got me set up on the app. Kelly in the office team was also great and communicated throughout. I received my handover pack and MCS certificate all very promptly. Brilliant service, competitive prices and my system has been working with no problems. I can already see a huge reduction in my reliance on electricity from the grid so cheaper bills.

Most impressed by the friendly and effiencient service
Most impressed by the friendly and efficient service. A company that answers phone calls/emails promptly, installation staff that are open and helpful. Any problems were given their full attention and resolved quickly where possible. Judging by their actions so far, I have every reason to believe their claim that they will return at a later date when our broadband system is upgraded to complete the one piece of the arrangement that is not currently possible.

Solar and Battery installation
From my initial call with Lee to design a system that would meet my needs, the admin assistance and planning from Kelly (first class).the electricians arrived and wired their parts from the house and the next day Sean and Tigan arrived to install the panels.
Everything ran as they stated and full installation was completed in a day as promised. First Class company who I would have no hesitation in recommending to others and I have already. Thanks again to everyone at AJ Renewables.
