Jacket arrived. was too small despite me using the size guide. The material was not 'vintage cotton' and the detailing was different from the advert photos.
The email address bounces back and there is no contact phone number.

I ordered a cardigan as a Christmas present a few days before the festive season and it still hasnt arrived. I write to Arkes every few days and get the response that Yodel, the delivery company are very busy and it will be with me in 2-3 days. Ironically I ordered something from a different supplier yesterday, January 12th, and it was delivered this morning by Yodel! So I'm begining to think Ive been scammed!!

Had a couple on issues with my online order but was all sorted in a prompt,excellent many & the timescale of the action & response was top draw

My parcel arrived damages on the outer package and the item inside was damaged as a result.
I contacted customer service and had an excellent experience. Full refund and a sincere apology. Quick and with the personal touch .

shocking company ordered a sweater from there web site unknown to me the image on the web was Ai generated . The garment did not fit due to the wrong sizing and the item was made of polyester not knitted as described when buying shocking they offered a 30 % return due to re stocking or they would send 1 off better quality , DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND . Not a good site the worst i have dealt with in my life.

Waited a while for my boots to arrive ( it was Christmas time ) ! When they arrived they were the wrong size . But answered my query very quickly and sent me out the correct size straight away. Very happy with the leather and quality of the boots. Great price

Urgent edit update 7th Jan. This company also run a website called joneex. It has some of the exact same listings as on the Arkes website. Trustpilot reviews for Joneex show negative reviews the same as our experience with Arkes. Same photo's etc are on the Joneex site. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID AT ALL COST. THESE SCAMMERS NEED SHUTTING DOWN

Avoid Avoid Avoid. Goods shipped are nothing like what's pictured/advertised. Cheap quality goods screwed up in a plastic bag and probably posted from a garage somewhere in the UK. Refund options are a joke. They want to deduct a restocking fee of 30% from the refund amount before they issue a refund. Items need to be returned via Special Delivery...... I very much doubt we'll be getting a refund from the company so opening a credit card dispute for this purchase. Arkes operate under several like Arken, so be careful. Note to self - stick with what you know in future. Arkes will block you on Facebook if you add a bad comment to their page.

Edit following Arkes reply on 7th Jan. My review is on behalf of a colleague and until we get a refund, I will not be providing you with any reference number etc etc. It's funny how all of sudden that you get additional reviews following my negative one. I was first to post and yet you claim to have thousands of verified reviews on your webpage. Where are those reviews?

I wish I could post screen shots on here as I would post what you advertised, shipped and charged for vs what miscrofibre toot you actually posted. Credit card claim back looks good so far but until we get our money back, you aren't getting anything further from us.

I stand by my review above. You have all the customer information incl. telephone number etc etc yet fail to provide a contact telephone number for yourselves and hide behind emails giving poor options on how to obtain a refund. I honestly do not trust that you would refund a customer having experienced receiving whats basically a few dusters poorly stitched together. I will be watching your website closely over the coming days.
