Philippa and Molly were great with communicating, arranged a couple viewings prior to purchase. Professional, courteous and a delight.

Auction house made my house buying process very easy. Exactly a week after buying the house I completed. Philippa especially was very helpful (and patient) with my endless calls and made me feel at ease going to auction for the first time. They were transparent about fees even though I had my solicitors got through the packs there was nothing hidden. Would highly recommend this company.

Mark at the Auction House was marvellous. He talked us through the process and kept us informed at each stage.

They team was unflappable when we had to withdraw our lot until legal work on ourside was complete.

The video and sales pack were of high quality and the advise on reserve was very accurate.

We had the desire to dispose of a property quickly so considered selling at auction. From what I could see Auction House is at or near the top when it comes to property auctions in the UK. Things went as quickly and as smoothly as hoped. Katie was excellent throughout the process, as were the rest of the team. Ours was not a typical auction property so Katie had to work harder to explain the situation to potential buyers, which she was doing right up to the last minute of the auction, and with success.

We'd considered the pros and cons of selling a fairly standard house at auction. It was a comfort that right from the beginning Katie did a perfect job of explaining the situation in a very balanced way so that we wouldn't have any unrealistic hopes of the outcome. We really got the feeling that her top priority is to look after the sellers and buyers through complete openness and honesty. That's very refreshing as she was presenting nothing but facts, figures and examples instead of employing the usual worn out transparent sales tactics which I don't respond well to at all.

I was put in touch with Jamie Fraser at Auction House who explained the auction process. Initially I was a little sceptical as I thought that it was more that Estate Agents didn't want to list houses at the lower end conventionally. However he was very articulate to highlight the benefits of the process and the creation of competitive tension to obtain the best value for the property. It was also really helpful that they have an option to use recommended lawyers to draw up the legal pack which is required for a property at auction. Overall the communication with both the lawyers and Auction House was first class with regular feedback regarding viewings and request for the property's legal pack. On auction day it is possible to see the auction live on-line and they achieved a sale price significantly in excess of my expectation. The whole process will be completed within 28 days and it is significantly easier than going through the conventional conveyancing process. I am going to use Auction House again for the disposal of other property assets and I have already recommended them to another associate. Thanks again Jamie Fraser for a job well done!!

Absolute nightmare experience dealing with Auction House South Yorkshire regarding 32c Rutland Street, Filey. This company completely fails in its basic duty of care and due diligence. They list and sell properties without verifying if the vendor actually possesses the legal right to sell them.They allow highly restrictive, completely one-sided legal packs that intentionally omit crucial title documentation. Buyers are held to an aggressive 14-day completion deadline while the auction house protects uncommunicative sellers. It feels entirely engineered as a manufactured money-making scheme to trap and seize substantial consumer fees. They took £3,600 from us for a service they failed to safely provide. We are not the first to experience this pattern of behavior. Avoid this platform at all costs unless you want your money trapped in a broken transaction. Trading Standards and the Property Ombudsmen have been formally notified.

From start to finish Helen was tireless in her pursuit of bidders and getting for us the best possible outcome she could. There was regular contact and updates throughout the process. So thank you to Helen and the whole team at Auction House East Anglia. 5 star!

It hasn't been the easiest decision to sell a loved ones property via auction, but we have tried the estate agent route and it was very stressful people pulling out last minute ect .
From the start Romilly was brilliant, communication was really good, and offering timely advice around a situation we have no experience in.
Obviously we don't want to find ourselves in this situation again but if we did we would definitely use them again 10/10.

I have just used Auction House UK, and really cannot believe how helpful they were with helping selling my property, they went above and beyond what I would say is normal, always on hand if I needed answers to anything, better than my solicitor to be truthful, and always kept me informed even if it was evening. Gary and the team should be recognised, and would definitely use them again if needed. And would recommend them to anyone selling their property.
