Audi Upgrades Avis 296

Been down to Andy at Audi Upgrades twice now and I can't recommend his work highly enough. Most importantly he is a really nice bloke. 1st visit was for a couple of Upgrades, just been down for a battery replacement on an SQ7 which has to be done right battery coding etc. Never have any worries about him working on the car, certainly knows his job.

Had my car in to add park assist functionality so I can parallel park in the dark! Works flawlessly just as installed from the factory. Andy is extremely knowledgable and the trip is worth a day out to just chat about cars and tech alone!

I'll be back in future for sure to get more modifications and a good chat over coffee.

Absolutely the best decision I have made by visiting Audi upgrades. I went for a reverse camera installation and Andy explained each and every step he would be performing on the car. He was very professional and used the right kind of tools (genuine Audi tools) to perform his needed operation. I am extremely satisfied and would be very happy to recommend anyone who needs a genuine VW related job to be done on their car.

My 87 year old father bought a new Karoq and was massively disappointed to find that it didn't have a power operated tailgate. He approached the garage he bought the car from to retrofit it, but was told it couldn't be done. Step forward Andy at Audi Upgrades who retrofitted the powered tailgate and internal buttons to factory standard. You would never know that the car hadn't been fitted with this all along. My father showed his garage who were very impressed at the quality of the work which they described as "Audi standard" and noted that my father's car was now unique for his model in having both the powered tailgate and an internal release. To say my father is delighted is an understatement....and he's now thinking about what other additions he can make to the car (look out Andy!). Massive thanks to Andy for making my father a very happy man. It has restored the enjoyment of his pride and joy and he and my mother are planning a trip away. I have also had work done by Andy and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade their VAG vehicle. Andy has a huge attention to detail, keeps you informed, and the whole experience start to end is a pleasure.

I took my S5 down to Andy for some retrofits and upgrades and my experience was fantastic.

I opted to have the memory function added to drivers seat, memory function added to mirrors, auto dimming mirror glass and full TPMS retrofitted.


Andy was brilliant in the lead up to my visit, he was happy to take the time to speak on the phone and to answer any questions I had as well as providing further information where required. He shipped out the valves for the TPMS promptly and provided instructions for what I needed to do and when.

My experience on the day was great, I opted to hang around and work whilst the work on my car was completed. Andy was happy for me to do this and we chatted as the work was completed.

All work was completed to the highest of standards and was all tested before I left. Very happy, and Andy is definitely a guy you can trust with your car.

Absolutely thrilled with the upgrades that Andy enabled to my car which included Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Traffic Sign Recognition. Had seen Andy recommended on online forums and was not disappointed! Not only is he very knowledgeable and professional but he is passionate about what he does and has an eye for detail. Now planning what to upgrade next!

Where do I even start? So I originally paid for aftermarket lights for my Audi, and before I realised it, it was evident that they didn’t do the car justice. I got in touch with Andy to get OEM ambient lighting put in, and I’ve never seen someone with such attention to detail and a passion for cars do such an amazing job. He was incredibly communicative, explained every step of the process, and filled me with absolute confidence that my vehicle was in good hands. It’s going to be difficult to give my car to anyone else now and not compare! Andy is nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and precise. He cares for very little detail to make sure that you’re informed of everything that’s happening with realistic time frames.

Andy knows his stuff and fitted the full colour ambient lighting package to my S3 without issue - as usual I'd imagine. Shame my local Audi dealer was under the impression that I would get a "package" of 5 colours or something so convinced me not to tick the £110 ambient lighting in the options list - how wrong they were about that and the Audi beam - that said it may not have arrived on the car anyway in view of the dreadful semi conductor chip shortage going on in 2022 - but I'll never know the answer to that . Anyway water under the bridge now and 20 months after delivery I now have the lighting and beam that I'd expected on day one... Night time trips home from work are an amazing colour sensation !! Thank you so much Andy. After purchasing the official Black Badges for my Audi E-Tron I wanted a professional to carry out the delicate work. After being recommended from a friend, I looked at the @audi-upgrades website and Instagram and immediately could tell I would be in safe hands. On our first consultation, Andy was extremely thorough, finding out the exact details of my car and going through the steps of the work in detail. On the day of the booking Andy again went through all of the steps to make sure I was happy before proceeding as well as plugging the car in to check for any faults before starting the work. Andy then carried out the work with extreme care and attention with a fantastic end result. Upon my return Andy also took the time to make sure I was happy with the work.

I drove over an hour, based on these reviews and word of mouth to go see Andy, for a rear camera installation on my Audi Q7.

Andy is very hospitable, with drinks, cosy place to sit whilst the work is done, or you can venture out to town (short distance away).
He is very friendly, honest and I loved how he gave me his opinion if something was worth spending the extra money on or not.

His work is impeccable, as if it came out of the Audi factory, I can not fault his work at all.

Andy is a really nice genuine guy. I got an Audi cruise control retrofit to my q3.

The work shop is very clean and he has all the electronic wizardry to do the job perfectl, and comfy chairs as well!

I drove round early in the morning, then two hours later I was off again. All fitted, road tested and working perfectly.

Very professional and competitively priced. He even sent me updated Audi spec of my car that shows the entire spec. This now includes cruise control as a genuine Audi fitted option. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone with a VW or Audi group vehicle.

I contacted Andy to have the intelligent parking assist added to my 2019 Audi A8 after seeing his videos on YouTube.
I was given a great price to carry out the work and booked the car in to have the intelligent parking assist fitted.
When I arrived on the day Andy made me feel very welcome and explained the whole process of the job.

Andy is a true professional. I searched for ages for someone who specialised in genuine audi parts as I wanted the genuine reverse camera / ambient lighting on my Audi. Everyone that I came across was offering the aftermarket stuff with some people actually quoting ridiculous prices for the genuine stuff. Andy from the moment that i asked for a quote to put side assists in the A8 and rear cross traffic alert sensors in . The service and follow up after the order and the date planned for fixing was given as 1 day whereas others were quoting 5 days and he completed in one day.
After the fitting was complete the handover was more than excellent he went through every detail inc spent time to go thru the auto parking which even the dealers did not show properly. Thank you for the superb service . Would recomend himto anyone for Upgrades

I have used Andy Hudon of Audi Upgrades for several years now. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable - legend status in the UK and now internationally. On my Audi Q7 he has done the following: heated steering wheel, side and blind spot assist, TPMS, kessy easy door and boot access, remote start and night vision. He has remote assisted me installing soft close door locks, passenger memory seat function and navigation map updates.
I cannot recommend enough.
