BMS Transport Avis 

BMS should be among the top of the moving companies. I had Googled for moving companies with high review rating. Approached 3 of them for quotations. BMS is the most competitive one. Upon request, they even agreed to refund to me any unused packing materials provided by them. Their communication is lightning fast and polite. 5 workmen who had served us in person in 2 separate occasions are all nice and wonderful guys. They made the usually stressful moving experience become smooth and pleasant. We would not have any hesitation to refer BMS to our friends who need moving service.

Reading the previous reviews you’d think these guys wrote the manual on removals. However, we clearly got the clown service on our job! They didn’t turn up on time or with enough vans or people. We ended up with an entire kitchen to pack ourselves 2 hours before our move out deadline even though we’d paid for the full packing service (and they had come round the day before and insisted everything was fine and in hand). To top it off, some bright spark thought it was a good idea to wrap a glass framed picture in a cardboard box without any protection. So our most valuable possession wasn’t properly protected and is now completely damaged but to their credit they went to extreme lengths to wrap a cheap plastic cup in 3 sheets of paper. Go figure. Needless to say they are now refusing to pay to fix the issue. I would suggest avoiding at all costs if you care about your property and want a stress free experience.

I’m all for small local family businesses. That’s why I chose you over larger more well known competitors. However, as a quid pro quo, you have to take full responsibility when things go wrong. Your negligent packing has cost me over £500 to repair a framed limited edition picture. And since then you have dodged responsibility. On that basis, I think 1 star is more than fair. What do you expect? Jam?

Your response below hiding behind small print T&Cs does you no favours and is clear for everyone to see - you think packing a picture in a cardboard box without protection is fine as long as the customer doesn’t realise for 7 days.

If you’d taken proper responsibility for the error and fully compensated you’d have received a much better rating from us.

Recommended by our estate agent, we experienced highly professional service from first contact, visit for quotation, office admin and over two days for packing in South London to unpacking in North Yorkshire.

Ours was a house move / relocation to another area over 300 miles away. The professionalism of the BMS team ensured that this was carried out without issue over a two day period (others had quoted 3 days). The team of three arrived on time and were very friendly helping to put on minds at ease as they swiftly packed our belonging into the removal van. Next day they arrived on time and were just as professional when unloading and positioning our belongings in our new home. Would definitely recommend using them.

This is the 2nd move BMS have helped us with, this time from London to the Midlands.
The guys were very professional and the team leader on the day was very attentive and the guys did a great job. They handled such a big move with ease and understanding.

So professional, efficient, tireless and nothing was too much trouble- even tho it was so hot, no lift on the 2nd floor, parking was an issue , dismantling and assembly was tricky but Neil, Claude and Joshua just gave their all with such grace and politeness. A truly 'A-team'. Madona arranged our move and we felt so supported at a stressful time and she made sure of her best attention at all times. Thank you all- you deserve your excellent reputation.

Having used this company previously, they were our obvious first choice. I can't express how grateful we are to these guys for yet again, making this element of our moving day stress free. There was effective and transparent communication from start to finish and everyone we dealt with in the company was polite, friendly and respectful of our family and our belongings. A big thank you to Siva, Neena and Kish in the office but particularly to Nebil, Kaj, Cosmin and Zum who worked liked Trojans over the two days of packing, loading, moving, unloading and unpacking. BMS provided a van and two very helpful men who efficiently dismantled funiture, packed it carefully into the van, transported it to our new house and reassembled everthing, all without a fuss and no damage. What more could you ask?

We were so impressed with BMS who helped us move house. First communications were with Kish who was knowledgeable and professional in working out the logistics for our move, quoting and confirming availability. We had a packing service and the team were wonderfully efficient and careful. The move day was equally impressive, unpacking all our stuff and putting furniture back together for us very quickly. We opted to use BMS's moving service (without packing) and it was incredibly smooth. Kas, Nishan and Cornel arrived bang on time, were polite and went the extra mile to move everything, even the bulky planters we had on our balcony! Everything arrived safely, including our TV for which didn't have the original box. Highly recommended.

Communication from the starting quote to the actual moving day was fantastic (Kish Peiris was wonderful) and the removal team on the day were efficient, friendly, polite and exceptional at their job. Really great service, 2 guys working on the job were punctual, polite, considerate and extremely hard working. Ovidiu who was my first point of contact was extremely accommodating and helpful.
