We used Ali Haider at BRM Legal for both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home, and he was absolutely brilliant throughout.

On the sale side, he had to deal with a particularly difficult conveyancer from another firm, but handled it really well. He stayed professional at all times, kept pushing for updates when things were dragging, and wasn’t afraid to challenge unnecessary or unreasonable queries. It always felt like he genuinely had our best interests at the centre of everything he was doing.

One of the biggest factors for us was time. Everyone in the chain needed things to move quickly—our buyer had a set date they needed to be in by, we were relocating a long distance and trying to make sure our daughter didn’t miss school, and the people we were buying from were working to their own deadline as they were moving abroad. Ali completely understood that and worked with a real sense of urgency throughout. He kept things moving, chased when needed, and didn’t let things sit still.

For the purchase, he was just as solid—thorough, responsive, and on top of everything. He kept us updated at each stage and explained things clearly, which helped take a lot of the stress out of it.

Communication was consistently good, and he was always approachable when we had questions. Even when he was on leave, it was clear he’d done a proper handover—his colleague was fully up to speed, so nothing stalled or got missed.

Overall, Ali was a pleasure to deal with and played a big part in getting both transactions over the line, especially given the time pressures across the chain. We’d have no hesitation in recommending him
