As a smaller clinic, the care is more personal. Flexibility is given to patients and consultations feel like a relaxed conversation with a doctor. No moment of the onboarding process or the ongoing care feels rushed. The fees are justified in the level of care you'll receive and with the ability to request prescriptions sent to any pharmacy gives you more control over your costs.

Following my December 2025 discharge and regulatory complaints, I submitted a Subject Access Request. The response arrived on the 30th day deadline in paper format only, despite source data being digital - a clear GDPR violation requiring electronic format. The bundle was heavily redacted throughout, with no call logs, no emails to third parties about prescription errors, and no system audit logs provided.

This response appears to be damage limitation through obstruction rather than genuine compliance.

Context on “Intensity”:

Earlier in November, the clinic had emailed patients advising us to submit early January prescriptions as soon as possible, having previously explained that prescriptions could be post-dated to ensure stock allocation. My preferred flower strain was low on stock. The “intensity” staff complained about was me following their own strong advice - advice they’d sent to all patients. This occurred during the same period I was trying to verify which prescriptions were actually mine following their admitted data corruption.

What little remained visible was hostility from the Executive Assistant:

18 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “I think Lee is trying to give me a nervous breakdown hahaha…I cant cope with him hahaha Gotta laugh or he’ll break me lol” (Response to legitimate prescription questions following the data corruption)

19 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “**** - remember Lee- he’s my favourite 👀 👧 👀” followed by “Please do not mess this up! he’s on his way to give me a nervous breakdown haha”

19 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “He’s pretty intense and has already rang specials to arrange their delivery over new year - you’ve got an appointment with him on the 11th December **** - *** said you’d discuss his anxiety 🤦🤦🤦” (Three facepalm emojis mocking mental health)

20 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “He’s just likes to email every day about something different 🙄😴” (Routine prescription tracking following a month of chaos characterised as harassment)

21 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “I’ve not answered Lee…Im not going to respond today if that’s ok as everytime I do he comes back with something else.” (Deliberate communication avoidance)

21 November 2025 - Executive Assistant: “there were a few from the beginning of November for lee that weren’t his - it was that big mix up with the portal that added things to his account.” (Direct admission of data corruption mixing patient prescription records)

Update - 29 January 2026:

This morning, Cannabis Clinic Cardiff attempted to have my Trustpilot review removed. Trustpilot investigated and confirmed there are no defamatory comments—the review remains published. The clinic has also closed its Google Maps account entirely to remove negative feedback, sacrificing half their total reviews in the process. Evidence of these reputation management efforts was inadvertently included in the SAR response itself.

Prospective patients should consider what this pattern of behaviour indicates about accountability and transparency.

I've not had experience of any other clinic and joined ccc in dec 2025.
I found Dr Howells professional, clearly had experience in the field of trauma and did not come across as patronising or like his qualifications were off the internet..... and after over 7 years of dealing with various doctors and psychiatrists, having to expose yourself to a vulnerable state, Dr Howell's had clearly read those previous reports and did not seek to probe into my trauma, other than to rightly assess the potential risk factors to me taking this medication.
The portal i found initially a little cumbersome and mithered the staff to death to help me get my meds ordered. Every member of staff I have dealt with has been professional, polite and helpful. (Thanks)
As stated, i can't compare it to any other clinic from a personal perspective, but i will be loathe to go anywhere else.
It may be a little more expensive from the reseatch i have done.
But worth it as i feel safe in their hands, valued and that they have a genuine passion for seeing people given a chance to improve their situation and promoting safe use.

A very attentive, professional, personal clinic. Not as budget as the large corpo ones, but sometimes we're happy to pay a bit of extra for clearly better quality, takes off a lot of stress of the whole process around medication.

I’ve been with this clinic for coming up to a year now, after switching from Jorja Emerson.
Since moving I have been over the moon with the service from Cannabis Clinic Cardiff, and better still, they are always striving to improve their systems through feedback.
Initially there was a bit of awkwardness trying to get prescriptions, but that was mainly down to Medbudwiki, and now we have our own portals with the clinic, things go way, way smoother.
The reviews go very well, and I feel I can be honest about my situation without judgement or stigma being attached.

Dr Dave always does a thorough check of my health at each review stage to ensure this treatment is still safe and effective for me, it's not rushed and I feel like he genuinely listens and understands how important and beneficial my treatment for my health conditions help to improve my quality of life.
He always takes the time to answer my random questions.
The clinic are always looking to improve their service so feedback is encouraged which makes you feel heard as a patient.

My experience is that CCC go above and beyond to help their patients.

The experience as a patient under CCC is second to none. Dr Dave and the team are extremely knowledgeable, and are able to tailor the treatment to the individual rather than treating everyone as the same. I look forward to having the meetings every 3 months, as it's great to be able to open up and have an in depth conversation, and being able to reflect on the aspects of my life in which the medication helps me. I couldn't ask for a better service, Ive been having my meetings with Dr Dave for the last 2 years, being able to talk freely in those meetings is a big help and feels like the treatment goes above and beyond what you would expected from a clinic.
I personally know people who have gone with other clinics for their medical cannabis and they do not receive anywhere close to the exeptional service that CCC gives.

Simply the best.

I’ve been with Cannabis Clinic Cardiff for nearly three years now, and I can truly say that medical cannabis has changed my life.

Depression and anxiety issues, which previously dominated my life and for which I had to take a number of tablets each with its own awful side effects, are now fully managed. I have become happy, content, and even motivated with a relatively small amount of cannabis.

I happened to choose Cannabis Clinic Cardiff simply because I happen to live in Cardiff and after hearing about other clinics through other patients, I am so glad it did!
