Easy process.
Wanted to use a long standing, trustworthy company with a national presence.
Bought a cremation plan to reduce the costs that would have to be met by my children.
Very happy iit was done so quickly and easily.

I was nervous before phoning to organise a funeral plan, but Phillip put me at ease and made the call a pleasant experience and was very helpful. He listened and helped me put in place the funeral plan I was originally interested in.

I recently loss my wife and her Funeral was organised and delivered by the Coop Newquay. Every detail I wanted for my wife was carried out with professionalism and respect. I now wanted to ensure that I could organise my own funeral and pay for it so my children didn’t have to worry about it but would still be able to personalise it when that day came.
I arranged a meeting with Nigel at Coop Funeral in Newquay. It was a very easy process that Nigel was able to explain in an easily understandable way the choices and what I would be paying for. I left the meeting with a smile and satisfaction that my every wish had been looked at and provided for by the Coop. A personal thank you to Nigel and also the welcome from Linda, who I had previously dealt with my wife’s funeral arrangements, was greatly appreciated.

We phoned to discuss a funeral for my mum. No one was available so they were going to call back on the Monday morning, but they took the details. They didn't return the call until Tuesday, and did not have any of the details previously given. They were then supposed to call again on the Friday. We are still waiting to hear from them. So it's a good thing during this awful, difficult time that we organised the funeral with someone else who did care , as the funeral was last Tuesday. Disgraceful

To add, you have asked for additional information but my father has lodged a formal complaint and hasn't heard from you about that either so I think that says as much as is needed

Anna and her wonderful team at Co-op Funeral Services were absolutely amazing throughout the arrangements for my grandmother’s funeral.
From the very first time we met Anna, she made us feel completely at ease. Her warmth, kindness and genuine compassion made such a difficult and emotional time feel a little easier for our whole family.
Anna and her team were incredibly professional, caring and attentive to every little detail. We always felt listened to, supported and reassured, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. They treated my grandmother with such dignity, respect and kindness, which meant more to us than they could ever know.
During such a heartbreaking time, having people around you who genuinely care makes an enormous difference. Anna and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled with the greatest care, helping us give my grandmother the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserved.
My whole family cannot thank Anna and everyone at Co-op Funeral Services enough for the compassion and support they showed us. We will always remember their kindness and the way they looked after us during one of the hardest times in our lives.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Anna and her team at Co-op Funeral Services to anyone who finds themselves having to arrange a funeral for someone they love. We are truly grateful for everything they did for our family and for helping us give our beloved grandmother such a special and beautiful farewell.

I arranged for my funeral over the phone which was great a simple process few questions and job done i knew what I wanted so didn't have to involve advisor but if you're not sure probably better to arrange an appointment with an advisor

My mother passed away in Bracknell and was moved to Slough. I used this service as I wanted a small and discreet service. When organising, I was asked where I wanted the cremation and chose Bracknell as that was her home and where my dad was cremated. When I chased the co-op for when she would be ready for cremation, I was told she was ready at Woolwich, in east London. This was strange as I had never requested this. We eventually managed to get her back to Bracknell but no apologies, no explanations and I was charged more for picking the crematorium that I chose at the beginning. I asked for an explanation but was blanked. Terrible and emotional experience.

Co-op Funeralcare at Manford Way Chigwell were truly amazing when planning our dad’s funeral.
We dealt mostly with June, however Bev was wonderful too, caring, compassionate and empathetic, they said they felt like they knew my dad by all the stories we told them and the send off he had.
Nothing was too much trouble at all!
We were kept in the loop with everything.
Kacie and her amazing team on the day were wonderful too!
I can’t recommend them highly enough honestly.
