I had a two year service plan for my Landrover with Lookers but when the Lookers Jaguar Landrover garage that had previously serviced my car was taken over by the Park’s Motor Group I could no longer use the plan. I therefore needed to cancel the service plan. The person with whom I spoke at EMaC was very helpful in explaining that I could use another garage in the Lookers group or cancel the plan and receive a refund for the remaining funds associated with the plan. I opted for the cancellation, the process for which was initiated immediately. I was informed I’d receive a email when the refund was on its way and that the funds would be in my account in 3 ~ 5 days. The entire process from my initial contact to receipt of the refund was completed in 7 days, entirely to my satisfaction.
It would have been 5 stars if I hadn't had to go through all the hoops with the bots on line. Decided to ring and got a really helpful human.
They would not repair surface scratches to an alloy wheel, stating that the wheel appeared to bring showing signs of corrosion, however on taking the car to my local Audi dealership they informed me that there were no signs of corrosion to the alloy and that I should recontact eMac to have the wheel repaired. eMac responded again by saying that the surface scratches were not covered, as their repairer had seen signs of corrosion. They do not make repairs to alloy wheels at a garage; they only do touch ups at the roadside/ owners driveway. Do not buy alloy wheel cover from eMac, it’s a total waste of money.
I had a very disappointing experience with EMaC cosmetic insurance. When I purchased my car, this insurance was included to supposedly cover dents, scratches, alloy wheels, and tyre damage. Over the 1.5 years I owned the vehicle, I made a claim for:
- One scratch on the bumper
- One dent on the driver-side wing/fender
- Two dents on the bonnet
The bonnet dents were rejected due to wording in the contract, which although frustrating, at least had some explanation behind it. However, the dent on the wing/fender was also rejected for absolutely no valid reason, and EMaC never even provided a proper explanation or justification for the refusal.
The only repair they approved was a minor bumper scratch respray carried out by Revive, which honestly was a very small repair job.
I genuinely do not understand why I paid around £600–£700 for this policy when they refuse to cover straightforward dent repairs that are exactly the kind of thing this insurance is supposed to be for.
Overall, this policy felt misleading and poor value for money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend EMaC cosmetic insurance to anyone.
I have tried 9 times to get someone to speak to following the death of my husband. Our kuga has a service contract and i need help to find out how to continue. Each call to them was a waste of time and i have no idea what to do.

Excellent service via phone. Agent clarified my contract details clearly to me. He was very knowledgeable and polite. Just forgot one thing and that was to email me a copy of the contract. No big deal.

The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and polite and assured me my money will be refunded within 5 working days. I can highly recommend EMaC and their service plan is well worth it

Very pleasant helpful gentleman made it very easy to get my money back but it took a long time to get through to a human,the amount of options and stages to get through and a couple of them started repeating the options,you may want to make it a little simpler .

I spoke to a lovely lady Kay who was exceedingly helpful, an easy person to explain my worries to, talking it through we realised a garage close to me is able to honour the agreement. All this was sorted without fuss and quickly. A HUGE thank you to Kay. Brilliant customer service. Well done 👍

Had plan for 4yrs.through Lexus when I purchased my car. Renewed after the initial 3 year period and only cancelled it due to sale of the vehicle. Spoke with staff member Russell on phone who was very helpful and courteous. Nice surprise also was that I was to recieve a refund.😃
Would definately recommed.
