Terrible company
Terrible been paying for a car warranty for life for over 3 years. My car broken down and I called and said they can’t help me. £33.20 a month for three years and they can’t help. Paying for a service I am not getting absolute joke.

Ok service/ product
The concept of the business is a good idea.. however it’s been a spotty experience. I wasn’t made aware of the premiums going up at 3 years and I have a 4 year lease. The direct debit stopped, we complained and the direct debit was reinstated, however that also failed. Took my care in for it 6 monthly service and though the plan was £150 in credit I was told I would still need to pay as there was an issue with the plan. I had to wait at the dealer will I fixed the issue before I could take the car. Meh 🫤

Nightmare to cancel!
Well, what a waste of money that was for 12 months!
Anyway, trying to cancel the subscription so it doesn't renew in a week & getting no where fast!
Sent an email towards the end of March - they can't help so early in the process, so they ask me to send another one on 6th April.. why can't they just say: 'noted - it won't renew in April, we'll send confirmation when it's cancelled'... no, that would be too easy, so now I have to chase them to make sure the policy does not renew!
Maybe a comment on here will help get me some response!

“Lifetime warranty” that doesn’t deliver
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with eMac’s so-called lifetime warranty. In reality, it feels largely ineffective when it comes to actually covering the work it promises.
When I tried to make a claim, I was repeatedly passed over to Trade Auto Centre, with no clear ownership of the issue. Communication was poor throughout—I spent a huge amount of time on the phone, often being sent in circles without getting any straight answers.
I was also told that a courtesy car would only be considered if there were at least 6 hours of continuous work carried out—and even then, it wasn’t guaranteed, just a possibility. That’s far from what most customers would expect from a warranty provider.
What made things worse was the pressure to pay thousands of pounds for work that should have been covered under the warranty, based on the issue identified. Instead of support, it felt like the responsibility was being pushed back onto me.
Overall, the process was stressful, time-consuming, and unpleasant to deal with. A warranty should give peace of mind—this did the opposite. I would not recommend relying on it.

I used the EMAC Toyota service plan for 3 years and my local told me that there was still a £100 credit on my account but they were unable to tranfer this to my new Toyota. I therefore applied to cancel the plan and received a 50 pence refund.

I called to cancel a service agreement…
I called to cancel a service agreement as I am changing my car. My issue was dealt with courteously and efficiently. My only problem was getting past the automated switchboard which didn't seem to recognise the options it was asking me to enter. It took a while.

I have to say these guys are great at customer service. I had to pay off my plan and there was a hiccup around the payment system going down but they were really friendly and helpful.

Don’t waste your money. Terrible product
Waste of money ! I bought the EMacs cosmetic repair plan as an optional add on to my new car in 2024. I hadn’t needed to use this until this weekend when I got a stone flicked up by the car ahead of me on the M25. The stone grazed the top surface of my bonnet , scratching the clear coat and slightly grazing the black paint underneath. The damage was a scratch about 1.5 cm long, which on closer inspection was 4 smaller scratches, each about 3mm by 1mm. I applied to eMacs for a professional repair, filling in the on line form, and uploading the required photos. I received a rejection less than 48 hours later, but the email told me to contact eMacs for the reason. I did this, and was told the damage wasn’t covered because due to the location and severity, I’d need a full bonnet respray. This was quite preposterous, so after a full and frank discussion about the misleading nature of the insurance doc ( scratches less than 30cm, surface scratches and stone chips are all valid claims) I asked for a refund, which was given pro rata. I’ve subsequently repaired the scratch myself using Tcut, McGuire’s fine rubbing compound and a small dot of onyx black paint. Don’t waste your money on this product. If I can repair what they can’t, you can too
