Waited a very long time to receive my order. The quality is significantly less than what is presented on the website description and photos. Unable to make a return for full refund. Website gives a U.S. address but ships from China.

This company misrepresented themselves and the dress I thought I was ordering. I don't know what is in San Francisco but it certainly is not a storefront and not a human customer service person. The dress actually shipped from China. The photo showed a mesh overlayer with embroidery - the dress I received was single layer printed fabric made to look like the overlay. The return process is a farce! Contact customer service. They review the claim. The offer of a refund is baloney! You have to return the item to a UK warehouse address, which requires a customs declaration, plus postage - costing $31. I was charged $59 for the dress plus some bogus insurance of $4.95. Take a photo of the return tracking slip and include it with the returned item and the return form. I don't know anyone who can take a photo of your shipping info, print it on the spot in order to include it in the return package! This is ridiculous and not very forthright, in my opinion.
AVOID THIS MERCHANT AT ALL COSTS!!! RUN AWAY, RUN FAR, FAR AWAY!

Per website they are in San Francisco, CA they ship from China and is asking me to return package to the UK. They are a Scam!!! Do not buy from this company. Shipping cost the same as the dress!

Scam right from the start. They advertise they are from San Francisco but the clothing iS shipped from China. Also the addresses they list on their website for their "offices" and "warehouse" are fictitious. Post office told me that neither one is an actual street address. I ordered a dress for an event I was attending and once I realized the shipping was going to take too long, I cancelled the order. They received my cancellation request and responded to it but they then (2 weeks later) shipped it. Then told me I could return it - to an address in England. The postage and tracking would be more than the dress cost. Dress was not as pictured and cheaply made. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMANY

I would not recommend this company based on my experience with their return process.

I requested to return an item because I was unhappy with the quality. The company asked me to send photos, which I did. After receiving the photos, I was told their team would review them and get back to me. Instead of providing return instructions, I was later asked to submit the same information again.

Their website makes the return process sound easy and straightforward, but that has not been my experience. I have repeatedly asked for one simple thing: instructions on how to return the item and receive my money back. Rather than addressing my request, I have been caught in a frustrating cycle of repeated requests, delays, and no clear resolution.

A customer should not have to work this hard just to obtain return instructions for an unwanted product. The lack of clear communication and follow-through has made the entire experience unnecessarily difficult and disappointing.

I ultimately filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I could not get a straightforward answer about how to return the item and obtain my refund.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from this company to carefully review its return policies and customer experiences before ordering.

I ordered a dress for a wedding. I ordered a size up to be safe. It took two weeks to arrive and was horribly too small. I did like the dress so ordered the next size up. It took another two weeks. It fit fairly well, so I decided to return the medium that I first bought. Customer service is basically refusing to allow the return. Absolutely ridiculous requests for them to “evaluate” my return. Do not pay any attention to their Customer Satisfaction guarantee. I am basically out $100. Buyer Beware!

This is a scam business. Clothes are cheaply made and sizing is small.

Their customer service is terrible. They do not provide refunds even after you send them a picture. Don’t waste your money.

Another clothing website scam. The clothing ships from China. It takes 3 weeks. They add shipping protection so it’s not free shipping really. The dress I received was such poor quality that I’m convinced it’s scam. The photo of the dress and dress received is obviously AI image manipulation. Regardless poor customer service. There are several websites that appear to online USA boutiques but always look at reviews. You’ve been warned

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I have been trying to return a dress for a refund that wasn't as advertised, didn't fit, and was very poor quality. I have contacted them multiple times for return information per their 30 day return policy and they refuse to provide the information. I have now been forced to contact Paypal and my bank to try to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Emblem Boutique is my worst-ever online shopping experience. Do not waste your time & energy to go through a painful experience like I and others have. It felt like a scam!
Their clothing is cheap - both fabric & workmanship - it’s likely manufactured in a sweat shop in Asia. Plus it lacked proper tagging that all legitimate vendors are required to provide.
Misleading/False advertising: the dress I ordered looked significantly different from the photo on their website. Plus sizing was incorrect: the Small dress I ordered fit like a Large or XL.
Add-on: Emblem added $4.95 to my order for shipping insurance and when I told them I didn’t want it they said they couldn’t remove it.
Delivery is painfully slow: it took over 3 weeks for the dress to arrive - which is unacceptable for a company whose website represents it as a US company with “Business Office” and “Warehouse” at two separate addresses in San Francisco. Incidentally if you look up those addresses one looks like an old townhouse on Castro St. and the other a dilapidated building on Haight St.
Customer Service: Emblem have no phone number, it’s all by snail mail and each interaction is with a different “name” so there is little continuity which feels like Ground Hog Day - ie the communication regresses to repeating yourself on information you already provided.
Returns are next to Impossible: because the dress was too small and significantly different than advertised, I asked for a return and completed a Return Form that they sent to me. Emblem approved the return and told me to return it to a UK address (at my expense including Customs Duties) which seemed ridiculous for a company whose Business and Warehouse addresses are in SFO! Plus the cost of shipping overseas and Customs duties would cost more than I paid for it!

BUYER BEWARE: Do yourself a favor and don’t engage with these “Emblem Boutique”imposters and in the event you a
feel victimized like I did, contact your credit card provider to see if they can help you out and potentially take recourse against Emblem. Lastly submit reviews on Trust Pilot & BBB to help inform other consumers.

Ordered a dress that took a really long time to arrive. Of course the quality of the dress was horrible and the material was definitely NOT as described. Followed the company's policy to the letter on how to return for a "Guaranteed 30-day money back refund" only to find out I was duped. No dress, no refund. Stay far away from this site!

It was so easy to find a dress for a special occasion!

I messaged with Boutique Emblem 7 times asking for return instructions and refund, and am getting such a run around! Received a dress considerably smaller than the size chart measurements. They responded that I’m to send photos of the measurements. Now this message-

After review, we can confirm that the size you received matches exactly what was ordered, and our size chart for this item is accurate.

And they’re charging $17.98 for replacement shipping.

The measurements are drastically smaller. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

I had a wonderful experience with Emblem! The quality is beautiful, and everything exceeded my expectations. Their customer service was exceptional—responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find a company that combines beautiful products with such great service. I’m extremely happy with my experience and would definitely shop with Emblem again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My experience with Emblem Boutique was fabulous. The dress I saw on line for a wedding was exactly the dress I got. The fit was perfect. I would definitely order from them again.

I really wish I’d read the reviews first! The dress I received VS the dress I ordered…I still can’t comprehend that I’ve been this deceived!! The fabric was supposed to be linen…it’s polyester! It was supposed to be a tunic dress…it has a sewn waist, bodice and attached skirt! It’s just the worst! Took 3 weeks to arrive…so disappointing. Do not buy from this company…I imagine it cost about $5 to make this dress!
