I am currently undertaking equivalency testing to obtain a biology qualification and have already paid for the coursework in full. Over the past three months, I have submitted six homework assignments, yet I have only received a single response during this entire period. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Attempts to contact them by phone have been futile as no one answers, and there is a total lack of communication from their side. Such poor management and disregard for students' efforts and time is outrageous. I strongly advise against using this service, as it clearly does not meet even the most basic standards of professionalism or support.

There is absolutely no response from them on the only email address they provide - info at equivalencytesting. Whether they don't have enough staff, or whether they just don't care, no one knows.

I've written to them 3 times over a concern I had for the last 4 months and have never received a single acknowledgement, let alone a response.

There is no phone number to call them on, nor an address to visit.

I don't even know if they're real. Maybe it's some shady operator based in India.

I have a near perfect overall 8.5 score on the IELTS which is a more practical assessment of one's language abilities, but the Great British Education system only accepts their antiquated Great British GCSEs. What use is poetry or understanding literary devices if you're working in the sciences anyway? But regardless, one has to depend on such operators like EquivalencyTesting.com.

Interesting to see that EquivalencyTesting.com has not even claimed this company which we are reviewing, because they simply do not want to take any responsibility as a business, whatsoever. It's all a big fraud I think.

Most awful company I have ever come across.
No results after more than a month and no answer to calls or emails after you've done the test. The only reply is at the beginning when they take your money!
It's an utter disgrace that big universities like London Metropolitan use such a dreadful and inefficient scam of a company! I am furious! The one star you give them is only so you can write out the disappointment and frustration!

Extremely poor communication following the exam as I am awaiting the delivery of the certificate. Despite the exam having taken place one and a half month ago and the results provided by email a month ago, I have not received the certificate and most frustratingly, there is no response to multiple emails I have sent and no one picks up the phone. There is very little information on the website about the exam and expected timeframes for results and certificate delivery, and there is barely any more information given throughout the application process. The English exam is provided as a Google form, an odd and inconvenient choice for an official exam. It is mind-boggling that so many organisations have this company as their default or only provider.

I have a PhD in English Literature, from a very well-known British university. Unfortunately I studied for my undergraduate degrees in another country before immigrating to the UK, so in order to attain my QTS I had to submit to taking both English and Maths GCSEs. The training programme I applied to informed me that this was the only acceptable organisation to use. Not only did they not inform me of the cost of the tests until after I had booked the exams (£140, each, with an additional £60 fee for expedited results — which were necessary, for me, since they only allow you to take one exam per week), they also failed to deliver the expedited results within eight days of completing the exam, despite promising to issue the results within 48 hours. Furthermore, when I emailed to ask for them to rescore my English exam (again, I have a PhD in this subject, as well as literal years of excellent-rated teaching. I should not have almost failed this exam) the man who graded the paper (his name, if you are curious, is Kevin) called me at home to explain that his incorrect interpretation of a Robert Frost poem was accurate when it was emphatically not. 'The Road Not Taken' was written by Frost as a means of having a dig at one of his more indecisive friends. This is well documented. It's not about 'being unique', as the speaker (Kevin also could not distinguish between the Speaker and the Author, though even the most delayed year six students are capable of making this distinction) was taking a 'road' which was already made and not, therefore, any evidence of his unique adventurousness. He also stated that my essay, which it was clear that he failed to read, or at least comprehend, did not meet the requirements, as apparently discussing the origins of the western concept of charity (which originated from Roman and Greek mythological figures) was 'nonsense' and 'didn't answer the question'. When I, again, requested a re-examination of the grade, he threatened to contact the organisation to which I was applying to tell them that I am incompetent. Regardless of how much, or little, you value my other qualifications in light of this exam, this was grossly unprofessional contact. The fact that the person who graded the exam felt free to contact me about it, using my personal number, and first personally insult me before then attempting to torpedo my career, as a response to his own massive insecurities, was reprehensible no matter how you cut it. No university or educational organisation should utilise this company.

Very Unprofessional team when replying to emails. They should be removed from testing.

Absolutely awful company, have no idea why universities are still recommending to use this company. I have advised them to remove equivalency testing asap from their list. They do not reply to messages, both landline and mobile go to voicemail constantly, no information sent at all. DO NOT USE

I have taken GCSE Biology with this company. PASSED 1st time with a grade 5. Received my certificate with a week. (APRIL 2025)

I have taken the Maths twice. I received a full explanation of each question on the 2 papers, along with the marks I received so I could see what I needed to review.
I agree that their communication is not good. There was a full letter of explanation of how to access the exam, how to pay and I received the results after 10 days, or within 48 hrs when I paid for that service.

I ran out of time for all exams and don't think 1 hour to answer 14 to 20 plus is long enough for each paper.

Overall, I have had a positive experience with this company and have recommended them to a lot of fellow students who need these qualifications.

I’m absolutely appalled with their customer service. They don’t respond to emails or calls. I’m stuck on what to do because I’m receiving no support. Do I pay for the exam and see if I pass or do I look somewhere else.

I’m very disappointed with my experience. My results took over a month instead of the promised 10 working days, causing unnecessary stress. On top of that, your customer service was unresponsive—no one answered calls or emails.

Given this, I wouldn’t recommend your services. I hope you improve your communication and reliability.

A Star on the other hand which I decided to use are totally the opposite, calls answered quickly and professionally, really helpful, emails answered same day………..unfortunately Worcester University doesn’t recognise the company !!!!!!

This company is an absolute rip-off. They are more focused on taking your money than actually helping you pass the Combined Science GCSE. Their service is completely unprofessional. They claim to offer options for submitting work via letter or computer, yet when I asked how to do this, they didn’t even know themselves.

I called multiple times with various issues, only to receive little to no help. To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I could barely hear the person speaking because his wife was hoovering in the background—completely unprofessional! It’s clear they have no real interest in supporting students or helping them pass the science equivalency test.

What makes this even worse is the poor quality of the materials they provide. The so-called "science booklet" they give you barely contains a quarter of the information needed to prepare properly. For the amount of money I spent, I expected far better.

Please save your money and avoid this company at all costs! Instead, I highly recommend buying the AQA GCSE 9-1 Combined Science Trilogy Foundation booklet. It contains all the necessary information and even past papers, with answers available online—without the outrageous cost!

Very disappointed , I spoke with the main man who run the operation , he seem very nice at first ! but then he ignored all contact seems they get your money then ignore you. He said he would support with the results sent 3 emails. Very poor service

I wouldn't recommend the Equivalency Testing to anyone. They are rude, unhelpful and very bossy.
I was nervous about my upcoming exam and had to ask some questions. Can not even describe the disappointment. I had paid for the course and now couldn't even get a proper explanation about the exam day. Never again.I found another website to sit my exam. The costumer service of which was very kind and helpful.

If I could give this company 0 stars, believe me I would. I took a biology higher exam with this company, which I achieved a grade 5 in, all with my own revision.

Firstly, this company is very quick in sending you payment details but when it comes to your own individual enquiries about the examination itself & the certificate being sent out, you will not receive a response at all. I took this exam so I could meet the entry requirements to begin my PGCE. I paid for fast track so I received my marking within two days, I allowed 10 days for my certificate, however 13 days had passed so I gave them a call to which I was told that the reason my certificate may have not arrived may be due to a typo on my address, I was told to call back as the examiners are ‘on lunch’, I then called back the next day, and was told the same thing, so I kindly asked the elderly lady on the phone, if it would be possible to get an email back or a call back where my queries regarding the whereabouts of my certificate could be answered. She then shouted at me to ‘listen to her’ and asked me ‘ do I not think the examiners and herself have nothing better to do rather than answer my emails’ to which I replied, ‘please do not shout at me, and do not be rude as I am not being rude to you’ she then told me she ‘refuses to help me, and is going to tell the examiners not to send my certificate out. Lucky for me I have received my certificate now. I would also like to add, the examiner I have spoken to was very efficient on emails, however that woman who answers the calls really needs re training on how to have basic manners.

Rip off. Paid for the revision pack which was a load of questions without explaining how to answer in the online exam format. most of this I could have done without help online.

The exam was messy; a lot of people were waiting for the second paper, eating up most of the second hour. The questions were mostly functional requiring a lot of time to answer, the last five questions were the big pointers where we had barely any time left to answer. I don't get how such a sloppily organised company with scam written all over them is regarded by Universities.

I had my maths foundation equivalency testing with ET recently. It was hard to get through to them initially because of the lack of contact details and scarce information on the website but they are great. I would 100% recommend them.

I had to take a maths equivalency exam for my PGCE, and I spent £280 on a maths revision pack. I was very shocked at what I got for that amount of money: just some printed homework sheets and a thin revision guide that I could have easily done myself. Additionally, I had to pay for my own postage to send the homework off to be marked, and I never received the marked work back. I also never had any contact with the tutor I was supposed to have access to. In the end, I spent another £90 just to sit the exam. To which i found the exam to have too many lengthy problem solving questions which ate up the majority of my 1 hour i had.
