Immediately I felt something was off
We received no confirmation for hours and hours which is unusual
So I tried emailing
The email bounced back
Then finally got confirmation but it looked off and the room information wasn’t correct
Waited another day contacted the actual hotel ourselves to be told we have no reservation for you, contacted Etihad airline to be told we have no reservation for you
Panic set in I asked my husband to report the transaction as fraud immediately
Called the number for Etihad holidays a woman answered as I was explaining I was reporting them for fraud she very quickly said we will refund us.
Got an email saying we will refund you
It’s been 5 days still funds not returned yet but the bank is still showing as pending
We need the funds back to book with a legit company
So do not trust this company
Extremely disappointed with Etihad…
Extremely disappointed with Etihad Holidays. Despite repeated calls and multiple emails, I received little to no communication. This caused significant stress, especially as this was a family holiday with an 18-month-old child.
I asked to speak with a team leader, Maria, who never responded. David said he would return my calls but didn’t. I also escalated the issue to the General Manager, Ranj Kundi, and still received no response.
Unacceptable service and very stressful experience. I would not recommend Etihad Holidays based on this experience.
Anbieter verkauft Zimmer, die es gar nicht gibt!
Am 17.11.25 ein Zimmer mit Meerblick im Giftun Azur Resort in Hurghada vom 11.12.-13.12.25 bei diesem Anbieter über Check24 gebucht. Nach der Buchung haben wir festgestellt, das es Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick dort gar nicht gibt! Auf Bitten um Stornierung oder Upgrade auf ein Deluxezimmer mit Meerblick hat weder Capital Holidays noch Check24 reagiert. Erst letzte Nacht, 36 Stunden vor dem Checkin, kam eine e-Mail von Check24 mit dem lächerlichen Angebot einer Entschädung, eine Stornierung wurde unverständlicherweise nicht angeboten. Unseriöser geht es nicht!
Flight cancelled, transfer didn’t arrive, hotel room let go!
Flight cancelled so took an additional day to get to Abu Dhabi. When we finally arrived at Abu Dhabi airport, the transfer that we had booked and paid for wasn’t there so we had to pay for a taxi to the hotel. The hotel wasn’t informed of the delay so had let our room go as they classed us as a “no show’. The hotel then charged us more for the room they did have available. First two days of the holiday were ruined as we hadn’t slept for 30 hours.
I contacted Etihad Holidays more or less immediately and did get a reply saying they’d look into the issues and get back to me within 28 days. Despite numerous emails to them it is now 3 months down the line and still no progress.
For a cancelled flight with a delay longer than 4 hours there is a standard compensation structure that all airlines adhere to but even this hasn’t been forthcoming from them.
Use them at your own peril. If nothing goes wrong you’ll be fine but if it does… you have been warned…
Do not use this company - dismal customer service
Do not use this company, their customer service is inexistant. After months of calling them having lodged a complaint they have not even responded once. I am not referring to a final complaint resolution, literally they have ignored emails, and multiple telephone calls, so I will be contacting the regulator. Their service is literally dismal and you should avoid using them. They lied to me about the state of the beach in Dubai for a property by the beach which, whose beach was totally inaccessible due to work being carried out. The fact that they have completely ignored a complaint failing to adhere to standard complain regulation about responding within 28 days (at the latest) shows that they cannot be trusted.

Booked a holiday on 31st Oct with Etihad holidays without checking the reviews. Once I’d booked I then noticed how bad the reviews were and started to panic.
It was late Friday so their call centre was shut and we were due to fly the next day.
The next morning I called at 10am and within 10 minutes all my confirmation and tickets were sent through and our holiday was absolutely brilliant.
I just thought i’d write a review due to the bad reviews i’ve read for this company and it only seemed fair to share my experience because we had no issues whatsoever.
They expect you to pay 6k in one go, with ONE CARD
They expect payment in full with ONE card. Please don’t book via Etihad Holidays if, like me, you wish to use a debit card and a credit card to pay! Who has £6000 via one payment method?
They do not allow instalments either. If you want to book with them then you need to have the funds in full, in one account despite the website saying there are multiple options, there aren’t, not unless you live in UAE. If you’re from the UK then you pay the small deposit then they expect the rest in full with one card.
Website had changed for the worse
I have been looking at Maldives holidays for the past week or so, had the option to select business class flights whilst researching , you have now changed website and have removed that option of choosing business class which is a shame as I like to know price before I book. Go back to old website where business class was available to book as part of package holiday.
CANCELLED hotel booking and not informed us
We flew from Doha to London via Abudhabi on 31/07. We received confirmed stay at Premierinn hotel, airport branch. when we reached the hotel, our HOTEL BOOKING WAS CANCELLED and etihadholidays had not informed us about this cancellation. At 1am in the night, I tried calling etihadholidays but no phone response, so I had no option but to 'pay for new booking on personal cost', though etihad had already taken 'administrative cost' for booking hotel for me. Emailed about this event about 5 times but no reply or response from the etihadholidays team. Telephoned them but do not have a responsible department.

Wir haben aus persönlichen Gründen unsere Reise nach Abu Dhabi storniert.
Nachdem wir dann die Stornorechnung bekommen habe, habe ich dort angerufen und gefragt ob ich doch lieber umbuchen könnte. Dies würde uns auch bestätigt und auch gesagt das wir die Anzahlung verrechnet bekommen. Als ich dann dort anrief um eine neue Reise zu buchen, bekam ich die Antwort, das ich zwar buchen kann aber die Anzahlung nicht verrechnet wird. Ich war total schockiert. Zumal wir alles schriftlich hatten. Aber mit dem Verein ist absolut kein reden.😡
Ich kann nur jedem davon abraten

I booked three rooms for a hotel in Dubai through Etihad Holidays, and the experience was excellent. There was a small issue where the booking didn’t show properly because I had children included, but they called me immediately and sorted it straight away. Their customer service was efficient, professional, and very helpful. Highly recommend this company, not only for their service but also for their great prices!
Gas light and lie to customer and ignore valid complaint
Don’t book with etihad holidays I currently have an ongoing complaint with them that they are just ignoring, paid and booked for sea plane connections as part of the holiday package only to arrive in the Maldives and be told it was a speed boat booked ,what followed was blatant lies via email from them and when they knew I wasn’t backing down and proved they were wrong did they admit that I was indeed correct, caused 7hrs delay stood around arguing for the actual resort to organise a seaplane for us as my partner gets extremely ill by boat hence one of the reasons it was not booked not that it was even an option in the booking which I proved to them as well ,so thanks to the resort for there help but not Etihad holidays who’s responses where verging on rude and very dismissive ,talk about gas lighting a customer and trying to rip them off, Sea plane cost is £600 the speed boat is free connection ,decide whether it was accident or deliberate or complete ineptness they choose to book the cheap option then lie to me ,Ruined and delayed our holiday massively casing upset ans stress on our arrival after 17hrs travelling and don’t even respond to your complaint.i warn future customers, there not even really etihad just a licensed business name of capital holidays , the WORST holiday company I ever booked with so beware

Katastrophe Capital Holidays
Wir hatten letztes Jahr (2024)über Sonnenklar eine
2 Wöchige Ägyptenreise(1 Woche Nil) gebucht und waren dann vom 30 05.-13.06 2025 auch vor Ort.
Bis zur Buchung war alles Top und dann ging es auch schon los mit Capital Holidays.
Wir bekamen die Rechnung per Mail und haben auch sofort die Anzahlung getätigt.
Kurz danach gab es einen Anruf von Capital Holidays ob wir noch eine andere E-Mail Adresse hätten,den Sie könnten uns keine schicken.
Ich sagte ihm wir hätten aber schon die Rechnung und er legte auf.
Der Urlaub rückte näher und dann kam Wochen davor der Abflug müsse verschoben werden von 09 Uhr auf 17 Uhr....ok....kann passieren....
Dann haben wir auf die Reiseunterlagen gewartet und da es schon am Anfang Probleme gab ,habe ich da mal angerufen und es wurde mir gesagt...Probleme mit der E-Mail Adresse ,aber sie leiten es an Sonnenklar weiter und dann bekommen wir es.
Und es klappte sehr schnell,also warum nicht gleich so,obwohl ja auch die Antwort-Mail nach unserer Beschwerde sofort bei uns ankam.
Aber alles noch Kleinigkeiten gegen das was kommen sollte.
Wir waren dann 2.Nächte im Hotel und Sonntagsmorgen ging es dann nach Luxor aufs Schiff.
Juhu....allerdings wurde uns dort dann vom Reiseleiter gesagt,das wir bis Dienstag Miitag dort stehen bleiben.
Anwort von Capital Holidays die Schiffe legen Samstag oder Sonntag ab...hm....es war Dienstag.
Jedenfalls war der Service auf dem Schiff (5 Sterne-Schiff)absolut schlecht..Personal lieber mit dem Handy beschäftigt,das war auf dem Sonnendeck genauso wir im Speisesaal und wir haben uns nur noch auf das Hotel gefreut,denn da war der Service und alles andere Top.
Wir hatten schon mehrere Tolle Nilkreuzfahrten
aber das war überhaupt nichts.
Wie soll ich ein Unternehmen bewerten, das auf eine seitenlange Beschwerde/Mängel-Liste nur mit Ausreden antwortet,
aber keine einzige Entschuldigung übrig hat ???? … Negativ-Sterne (Event. in Form einer Stinkbombe o.ä.) gibt es leider

I have to admit I was very worried…
I have to admit I was very worried after booking my holiday through Etihad Holidays when discovering them through a price comparison website.
I booked a 14 night holiday to the Maldives, once my deposit was paid I was startled to find out they are not part of the “Etihad Airways” group although they use the same name and identical logo!
As you can imagine alarm bells started to ring and I was hesitant to pay the remaining balance!
We ended up using one of our credit cards to ensure we were covered should anything not go to plan but to our surprise and relief it was all perfect!
Once the full balance was paid we received our flight tickets and log in so we could book our seats and any extras required for our travel.
When arriving to the Maldives again everything went to plan and we had a great holiday!
We couldn’t fault a thing and everyone who I spoke to via email or on the phone from Etihad Holidays were polite and welcoming!
I would definitely recommend Etihad Holidays and would book again through them!
Last minute trip
Great holiday to abu dhabi booked through them. Did have some technical issues but customer service were responsive and things worked out fine. Excellent hotel, transfers and flights. Would use again.

Wir haben ein tolles Urlaub über Etihad holidays gebucht. Malediven 26.5-4.6.2025....Kurz ich kann nur sagen das alles war top.Buchung, Flug, transver, Unterkunft.... alles problemlos und Günstig. Respekt. immer wieder mit Etihad holidays Urlaub machen.

Achtung… Abzocke! Wir waren im Januar unterwegs mit diesen unseriösen RV und mussten 2 mal zahlen. Wenn nicht auf eigene Kosten zurück. Bitte nicht buchen. !!!

I was worried after reading some negative reviews on here but we have a brilliant experience with them. They were super responsive on email. Holiday went really smoothly - everything was as expected. Would definitely use again.

An jedem Tag ein Ausflug mit deutschsprachiger Reiseleitung.
Alles top organisiert.
Hotels 4 Sterne - top. Überall Frühstück sensationell, und bei den Ausflügen war außer einmal auch Mittag oder Abend essen dabei.
Wirklich top und der Preis war auch top.
Jederzeit wieder und kann es nur empfehlen.
Wenn wieder solche ErlebnisReisen werden wir bestimmt das Angebot wieder annehmen.
