Europe Removal & Storage Ltd. Avis

Moved quickly and efficiently

Great experience, on time and job done well. Friendly staff.

Avoid at All Costs!

I was initially quoted a fixed price of £1,500, which, according to the company’s surveyor, was meant to cover everything—a one-off payment with no extra charges for additional time or any other fees. The surveyor assured me that the team would work until the job was completed, regardless of the time, with no unexpected costs.

However, midway through the move, Ali, the team leader, suddenly demanded an additional £300, claiming it was a requirement from the office. Feeling pressured, I paid the extra amount and even tipped the movers.

Before the job was finished, Ali asked me to leave positive reviews on Trustpilot and Google. Shortly after I did so, he came back and demanded an additional £625, claiming that my total payment of £1,800 only covered the company’s charges, but after 5 PM, I was required to pay the laborers separately at a rate of £125 per hour.

At no point before booking was I informed of such hidden charges or payments into separate pockets. The situation escalated to the point where I had to involve the police to remove the movers from my home.

UPD. Two days later they emailed me another artificially inflated invoice demanding £2,700.00 on top of what I had paid stating if I don't pay withing 5 days, I will be facing a penalty of £50 per day, which was entirely unlawful and is regarded as harrassment.

Also, after I shared my negative experience the company attempted to pressure me into removing my honest reviews by making veiled threats about seeking ‘compensation for damage to their reputation.’ No legitimate business should try to silence customers through intimidation. This speaks volumes about their ethics and how they handle dissatisfied clients

Beware! Highly dishonest and unprofessional service.

Amir and Team
Excellent and super efficient service

This was a downsizing house move. The original quotation process made their offer quite compelling, although it's advisable to get them to put in writing the various bespoke promises made. Like any housemove, when it came to the day, it was very stressful, but there is no doubt that these guys work very hard and fast. Unfortunately, that did give rise to items being wrongly packed together and a lack of clear labelling of what was in each box. They were good at moving, but less so at providing a full removal serviced. There were some breakages, electrical things left outdoors, and no real attention paid to what should go where etc. The unpacking became rather pointless because little attention had been paid to what should have gone to storage and what was needed in the new home. They had arranged a storage facility for excess belongings. With ome confusion on their part between Horley and Horsham I ended up paying a rather excessive rate for storage over half an hours drive away when I could have secured it myself 10 mins away and much cheaper. This rather wiped out any saving made from their competitive quotation. I had the pleasure of liaising with Brian, who went out of his way to rectify issues and kept me informed all along.
Using this company made me realise the importance of being right there in the thick of it for every step of the way so as to give their team half a chance of doing the job the way you want it.

Very professional and efficient. From my first interaction with Brian at the quote stage through to my move in on 23rd December 2024 they never failed to impress. My furniture had to be retained in storage for six months before the final move in and everything was in pristine condition. Their prices were also very competitive and I would fully recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience using Europe Removals for a recent house move including packing service. Our move date was uncertain and only confirmed the afternoon before and they were very accommodating and flexible. Amir and his team arrived promptly and we were blown away by how quickly and neatly they packed up the whole house! They were equally efficient with loading and moving and took good care of our possessions. There was a a bit of a wait while we waited for the keys to be released but they were patient and understanding and stayed on late to ensure everything was unpacked and reassembled. They were all friendly, polite, professional and did a great job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Europe Removals again.

Just amazing, adaptable and professional service. Even when things were going a little wrong from my end the team were amazing.

Europe Removal organised the move to our new place recently. All the communications and coordination was excellent and the admin team lovely. The team who came to help us with the removal, Mahamed and Sobi were brilliant. Very professional, friendly, arrived on time and finished moving us to our new place speedily. Very grateful for your services!

The boys turned up on time and worked their way quickly through moving boxes into the vans and also carefully dismantling any larger items.
Unpacking at the other end was equally as efficient, whilst still being careful not to damage and items or decor.

Whilst English probably wasnt the first language, the boys were friendly and able to communicate and understand English so no issues there.

Overall a very pleasant experience that saved us a lot of stress, hassle and time.

Would definitely recommend.

Thanks

Aj

Brilliant service. Great value and honest. The team was professional, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Their positive, can-do attitude made the moving process much less stressful, even when unexpected situations arose. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.
