Film Camera Store Avis 

Faulty camera sent and no response to any of my emails regarding this.

It was messages to return a film camera that was not functional. While trying get support to get it working I only received a response post multiple email and phone calls with an eventual response days later. This failed to fix the problem and camera was returned. Though signed for in return I have had no email confirmed or payment refund, again after multiple attempts in contacting them. Their return policy is far from hassle free as advertised. Significantly dissatisfied.

Purchased a lens but I made a mistake with the fit so immediately asked for details for a return or a replacement. Emails and telephone calls went unanswered so I would suggest to stay well clear of this shop. I shall continue up to the 14 days they quote for a return and if I hear nothing I shall go public via BBC Watchdog. You have been warned.

Very poor communication after the order was placed. Needed to change my delivery address and got no response to my emails. Eventually got an email saying items had been refunded, but no explanation as to why. No dispatch notification either.

Ive ordered one camera a week ago and still got no news from anyone !! No answer to my emails, nothing !

Missing items from order, have emailed twice about it and still not had a response.

Bought a camera from them for £100, tried to contact them to return it about 10 times over the space of three weeks and they ignored every single message. Don’t buy from them

Package was left outside by the bins & unsigned for - easily could have been stolen or rained on.

Camera faulty & wouldn’t load film so had to send back.

Unfortunately, I received a product with a defect. I emailed the company straight away asking to arrange a return or exchange but never heard anything back. I have contacted again via their website and again via my bank and have still not received return instructions or a refund. It is unfortunate that there is no streamlined returns process as all of this could have been avoided if a return address would have been provided with the order. The website simply states to contact them to arrange a return and yet they do not reply when you contact them.

Avoid: condition of items not described on site and images of products used are generic and do not show the true condition of the camera being purchased. Customer support is also non existent - I've been trying to create a return for more than two weeks as I'm not satisfied with the condition of the K1000 I purchased. I've submitted multiple contact form submissions, sent emails and left voicemails with no reply.

Utterly disappointed. I was so excited to place the order for the camera but once I received it, found that it doesn’t work.
Upon doing research, I found that the make and camera model I had purchased is renowned for being a bit temperamental. I have requested a refund and have heard nothing for 2 weeks. Very upset

There was a problem with the lens of the camera that we ordered, and customer service was kind enough to send us two different lenses to try out as a replacement. We were able to work out from one of the replacements what was wrong with the original and it was easily fixed. There was always a prompt reply to my emails and we were grateful for the help.

Poor. I was given a token by my daughter. I wanted to buy a flash unit on your website - turns out it was out of stock . I sent them an email about another unit and never received a reply. It's impossible to telephone them. In the end, I bought a couple of rolls of 35mm film, priced over the odds compared to a competitor: I had them send it to my daughter's address in UK because their p&p to France was ridiculous. Yes, I know about Brexit putting up the cost of sending things but that doesn't fully explain why they are so expensive. I wouldn't use them again

Was sent a very overpriced and broken camera. The customer service was painfully slow and insured me that a replacement would be sent. After a long wait, I was told that they did not have a replacement. Start to finish, this was a woefully inadequate experience and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

The camera arrived broken, though the item has been returned, and contact was made with the company. Contact ceased since the damaged item was returned; at this point (a month after the return), the only contact from this company has been to ask me to provide a review. Disappointing and a waste of almost 400 euros. No camera, just money wasted - Amendment, later resolved after e-mailing repeatedly and more than a month delay. Customer service staff were eventually very polite.

Took around 3 weeks to arrive due to apparent issue with the supplier of the leather cover. Once I asked for a refund on the order they said the will have it with me within a week.
It was a rushed job, the leather was cut to size terribly, which i had to redo myself. To make matters worse the film door had been glued shut...took me an hour to get it unstuck once it arrived. Overall an unsatisfactory experience.

Bought an Olympus Mju II camera from them as a gift for a family member. Specifically wanted as good of a cosmetic condition as possible in a silver colour and was ready to pay a premium (was prepared to pay way above average price for mint/boxed if possible hence didn't flinch at high prices). This shop came up as one of the results. They came back to me a few days (alarm bells ringing) later offering a camera in a bad cosmetic condition for a 20% discount, as they don't seem to have one they are advertising in stock. I asked for money back - thankfully they did so instantly. However... The camera they advertised is still on the website! Careless or intentionally misleading? I suggest avoid these guys.

Great selection of 35mm SLR cameras at very reasonable prices. My order arrived within 2 days and in fantastic condition. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get into film photography.
