I paced the order online on Monday at 12:03 with free delivery and paid an extra £14.95 for express delivery, expecting it to arrive no later than Thursday.
Received an email stating delivery was Friday, called to challenge this and was told that because the order was placed after 12 to defaults to the next working day. Small print (which I failed to notice) also states this. I find this quite ridiculous that (what I'm sure is an automated electronic ordering and delivery system) even needs a cut off time. Systemically it shouldn't have allowed me to select express delivery because it couldn't honour it.

I will tell you ! It it absolutley disgraceful that they send one delivery driver and also a young slight built man!.. don't know where in the small writing it says delivery driver might need a hand off the van!.. this delivery was for my mother's garden, she is over 90yrs old although very independent and mobile and still loves doing up her home and garden, but wouldnt maange to.carry a heavy dead weight of grass !! . anyway, just as well.my brother was there! There were two very large heavy rolls of grass, my brother had no idea that had to help out, was only there that day as being delivered.. These rolls are very heavy for evem two men! Anyway, the driver yanked one end up, my brother wasnt ready for this ! And had to turned quick to grab the other end !!and yanked his neck!! The drivers are obviously strained in handling how to.lift these up!! Maybe not the people they're delivering them too!! My brother who is a plasterer is now off.work with his neck in constant pain and.agony!! How dare this company do this to people.at other end of a delivery! It is not the job of the purchaser to take.a risk in.lifting these heavy rolls of grass!! They are an absolute disgrace I wouldnt like to be the mother of one of these boys delivering! They will be injured and be unable to work at one point! that is a definate.!! These rolls could.never ever be lifted by one man!! I have told my brother to sue them!! Shame on the owners using one delivery men for this ! If one gets injured how are rhey going to carry on, no-one there to help.out.. YOUS DO NOT KNOW WHO IS AT THE OTHER END OF YOUR DELIVERIES !! HOW DARE YOUS ! ASUME.PEOPLE.WILL.HELP.LIFTING AND HANDLING THSES HEAVY ROLLS!!! NO.RISK ASSESSMENTS DONE FOR.THE PERSON AT OTHWR END OF THE DELIVERY!! NOTHING.. NOT EVERYINE IS MOBILE OR STONG ENOUGH TO TAKE THIS RISK..SHAME ON YOU GREEDY OWNERS!!! SHAME ON YOUS !! EMPLOY ANOTHER DELIVERY DRIVER ! IVE NEVER KNOWN ANYTHING LIKE IT !! POOR MEN DELIVERING WILL BE WORN DONE BEFORE THEIR TIME AND THEIR BACKS WILL BE DONE!!!DISGRACE

I only wanted to get something cheap
I only wanted to get something simple to lay in my garden, and saw the grass on offer. Paid £200 inc pins, and arrived promptly. Looks amazing and feels lovely. I expected it to feel cheap but the quality is great!
