We really enjoy them.
I can honestly say we really enjoy the green chef vegan meals. The portions are big and filling. The recipe is easy to follow, step by step. The chefs at Green Chef have clearly put in a lot of effort to make tasty vegan meals that are easy to prepare. There is a bit of plastic packaging waste, but sadly I don't see how this can be reduced and keep the food fresh.

I’m only giving a 1 star because what we had tasted nice …. However each box over 5 days for two people had items missing …. Feta cheese, proscuto, etc…. Was totally fed up …. The portions were very very small … had to make other meals afterwards…. Bags of cal-slaw had a use by date of today’s after we received them ( the meals were for 5 days. The green beans weren’t black and manky, they looked like they had been frozen and thawed . I couldn’t recommend Green Chef to anyone …. It must be a spin off from Hello Fresh as several items had Hellow fresh packaging aswell. A waste of £67…. And that was with 50% off for our first box…. CANCELLED THE LOT AFTER THAT .

The positive the protein portion is larger than competitors
However the negative is it’s the same produce / packaging as hello fresh for an inflated price! One would expect organic fresh produce for the price

Good meals, terrible delivery service
I have really enjoyed most of the meals from Green Chef, but in just a couple of months we have had two boxes not delivered and we have had to complain to customer service twice about poor quality or missing ingredients. The service is meant to be convenient but it is often more hassle. I won’t continue to use them until they stop using Evri who cannot be relied on.

Great Service and Recipes
Green Chef are by far the best food prep company I have used. The recipes change every week and are always delicious and easy to make. I love that you can see how much protein, calories etc you are getting and you can tailor make them to your requirements.
Delivery is always on time and the ingredients are superb quality.
There is nothing bad I can say and it works out far more economical than going to do a food shop every week and not having to think about what to cook for tea.
I have already recommended two friends and will continue to promote them wherever I can.

Unreliable delivery
Food and recipes are fantastic, delivery and customer services ruin it. Second time within a month the delivery hasnt arrived on a Sunday leaving us without food, speak with CS team and referred to logistics....does not help when you the have nothing in for dinner.... really want to continue as food is great but dubious to do so

Terrible,
I literally just signed up to check the meals and prices, and immediately was forced a delivery. I cancelled within the same day and hour got confirmation that your first delivery might still take place if not cancelled in time.
When i complained they only refunded me 50% and will deliver the food i do not want, which they can cancel as its still being "packed"
DO NOT USE this, there are several other companies that don't practise like this. Avoid at all costs!
These are literally the worst sales tactics. This is not how you will survive or get customers, ridiculous. Oh and from the reviews i am not the only one!

Appalling business practice
Appalling business practices and dishonest customer service. We couldn't cancel our inactive plan through the app, and despite having an expired card on file, they forced an unwanted food box on us anyway. That we did not pay! When we tried to refuse delivery, the driver refused to take it back because it is food. Weeks later, we were hit with threats of debt collection.
Customer service promised a 50% refund in writing if we paid the disputed balance first. We paid, provided the proof, and have spent the last 2.5 months chasing them through endless calls and emails with zero resolution. Shady practices and completely untrustworthy—stay away

The meals are always tasty, there is a good variety catering for most food preferences, there is very little wastage and it is extremely convenient. Pausing subscription is easy. The delivery service is reliable and the food is well packed.

I wanted to try out but couldn’t find anything I liked so I didn’t choose anything, I thought that meant I hadn’t okaced an order, just looked at my bank account and 49 pounds has been taken so I’ve tried to cancel and can’t because just within 5 days, so I’m getting 3 times 4 recipes of some random menu, trying to explain anywhere on app or website is impossible, I don’t want the order because I didn’t order it! I want my money back!!

The food is good but I have had four occasions now where the box hasn’t arrived- with no explanation and no notice, when I contact customer service they don’t do anything other than say ‘a credit has been added to your account’ which essentially is my money being refunded as credit and then the same happens again. I tried ordering for a different day and the same happened. Very poor service

Two boxes so far
We have had two boxes so far, they have been nice and decent portions. We have had them at an offer price on promotion but dont think I would buy them at full price as fairly expensive.
They are the same meals as hello fresh company or at least the ones we have had so far.

Poor dates on proteins
Recipes are ok, boxes are expensive for what they give. Often dates for proteins run out on day 4 or 5 meaning you can't really skip any days cooking. It seems to have gone down hill in the last 6 months.
