The initial contact was excellent
The initial contact was excellent. The presentation was informative and all questions I wanted to ask were answered. The date was arranged to suit me and the scaffolding company used were polite and informed me that they would be arriving early in the morning. On the day of the installation, the team of three were polite, checked that the area for the location of the battery and inverter was as I had requested. They were very efficient hardworking and tidies away. The App unfortunately had technical issues but the engineer did a quick view on his phone. Customer service checked afterwards that the installation had gone well.I mentioned that i really needed to know how the app works and was told that they would get someone to contact me. They have now spoken with me and explained how the App works and have forwarded all the paperwork needed to be able to apply for a SEG from my provider. Great post installation service thank you for your prompt response.

From start to finish everything ran like clockwork. The staff on the phone were both courteous and informative. The estimator was extremely thorough in his explanation of everything and did not pressurise for a sale and the work itself was carried out quickly, competently and very tidily. Very impressed with Lime Solar
I was impressed with Lime Solar from start to finish, we paid quite a lot for our solar setup that includes 6 panels plus 2 x5.8kw batteries along with an EV car charger.
The scaffolding went up very quickly after agreeing the prices which did include a bit of too-ing and fro-ing but once agreed all was plain sailing from there. The electricians and fitters were brilliant and quickly installed all components and within about 6 hours all was installed and working.
So great comms, great workmanship and easy to talk and deal with.
I have recommended to friends also to use Lime Solar.

Solar & battery installation
Had my solar and battery installation in for 9 months now.Don't believe in leaving a review right away.
Initial survey was very informative one of the best we had ,although with some of the info the truth was stretched a little.
Installation was done in one day ,no problems accept for some broken tiles on roof.All replaced except for one missed.
It's after installation that things are not quite so good.Phone calls are not returned.Had a small issue with the bird protection.Took 4 phone calls and 3 months to fix.Cracked tile still not fixed after a few phonecalls(lost count).Phoned today about a battery issue ,was told they would phone back ,no phone call.Tried later and got a automated message.
Customer service seems to be the letdown.

Solar Panel Installation complete despite an initial hitch
The solar panel installation went relatively smoothly. The electrical side of the installation went without a hitch and I was given a full description of how the system worked. This included downloading the Fox App in which I am able to view how much energy my house demand is at any one time, the energy generated by the solar panels and the flow of electricity to or from the grid.
Only down side was that the chaps installing the panels broke a significant number of concrete roof tiles which had only just been installed by a separate roofing contractor on my behalf. The probable reason for this was that new tiles were still very “green” and relatively weak. However I arranged a meeting between the Lime roofing contractor and my original roofing contractor the next morning and between them all broken tiles were replaced and all solar panels were installed.
Finally I received a phone call from Lime’s admin team to advise me that they had issued the necessary documents to get the system certified and I should receive word back within a couple of weeks from the various bodies to allow me to progress with earning some “spondoolies”from my energy provider.
Overall I am delighted that the solar panels have been installed and things are moving forward to getting my system certified.

Chaps arrived nice and early
Chaps arrived nice and early, I did offer tea or coffee but they thanked me but wanted to get on with the job very professional, I was asked if I was happy with the design on the original plan, they recomended a better design for the panels to be placed, I agreed with whey suggested, work was efficient none stop from start to finish, the chaps were very friendly, everything was explained to me I was shown the workings of the battery etc how the system worked, a wee bit out of my depth their but got the gist of it, the house and surroundings were left as found, very impressed with all the work carried out.

Great experience from the North of Scotland
We had Nigel come round to the house to do our visit/review and he was very informative and helpful. He explain everything clearly, carefully and answered any questions we had then and there.
Shelley in the office has been so helpful once we decided to go ahead and has kept us informed at every stage of the process and she couldn't be any nicer and friendlier which brings a level of comfort and reassurance.
Install was done smoothly and efficiently by a team from Glasgow who more than likely spent more time travelling to us than the time the install took from start to finish. They were friendly and introduced themselves upon arrival and explained what role each of them were here to undertake and we couldn't be happier with how it all went.
Overall a very smooth and seamless experience and would highly recommend.
