Lodge brothers provided an excellent service at a very sad time for us. They were very professional and attention to detail was great.

Fiona, Sharon and the team were helpful discreet and respectful at this sad time.

Lodge Brothers work on renovating two family memorials has been of the highest quality. Not only have the masons been exceptional but also the office staff who have responded to my calls with kindness and care.

Lorraine Francis has done nothing but to frustrate and delay the probate process as well as send me malicious communications on the 20th July 2026, the Anniversary of my Mother's funeral.**********
The Review which I posted in 2024, and my response to your reply will never be removed by me under any circumstances, so you and your client Mr Adrian Richard Lindsay will need to accept this however distressing and uncomfortable it remains for you and your client to read. Also, you and your client need to understand that any tactics that you and your client use to attempt to embarass or humilate me to withdraw my 2024 review will continue to fail...Sticks and Stones, Lodge Brothers.
You should be aware that legal action is in process against your client.
He is suffering from the guilt which he and his family will be living with, which I have no doubt has left him with deep depression. He will have to seek help to deal with how he continues to feel. Unfortunately for him I doubt that he will ever get over his guilt which will probably remain for him for however long he manages to recover.

It seems that his way of dealing with guilt and depression is to, get a doctor to send me a death message of "very, very Bad News" then attempting to stop me from attending a funeral, harassing me by sending communication to my probate solicitor via Lorraine Francis, his solicitor causing conflict and dispute with my probate solicitor since 22nd April 2026.
His actions since December 2009 are not of my doing. He struggled to support himself.
I note that you have other/recent 1 star reviews from other clients since my review in 2024.
Also, your client's solicitor is continually trying to provoke me, so you could contact Lorraine Francis via Adrian Lindsay so that I won't have to add more to this review. Although I have no doubt that she will be viewing this review.
Lorraine Amanda Francis (Lorraine Francis Solicitors) from Weybridge, Surrey has continued to harass me following the death of my parents,
Mr V. Lindsay, 29th December 2022 and
Mrs F. Lindsay 7th June 2024. Lorraine Francis has also continued to dispute costs and is causing the Administration of my parent's estate to become a painful and drawn out experience for me. I am in the process of having Lorraine Francis removed from being involved in the administration of my parent's estate. I understand that her client, Adrian Richard Lindsay is disgruntled and that I am entitled to our parent's estate but under UK Law as there is no Will in place he cannot with his deluded state of mind and do as he wants, and then send me unwanted communication via Lorraine Francis to cause me distress and insult.
There should be no need for me to add anything further to this review. However had you not treated me in the way you did up to the date of 18th July 2024 then the review which I have had to submit could have been avoided by your company.

Always responsive, answered any questions and accommodated in any way possible. Easy to deal with and made the planning and day of the funeral itself stress free.

I dealt with Lodge Brothers by telephone which might have made making the arrangements difficult but Lodge Brothers made it all very easy. They were sympathetic and helpful and guided me through the whole process.

Absolutely lovely people to deal with, completely understood the situation, as it was a difficult decision what to put on a headstone after 39 years. We were shown compassion, empathy and care. beautiful craftsmanship. im so proud.

Helpful and taking all the hassle out of the organisation and very helpful and understanding staff. The stone was erected in April 2026. The funeral was on the 32st March 2025.

Kim and Kerry were both so lovely , understanding and patient . They listened and guided us through all the planning and made a very difficult time easier to bear. Also the men on the day of the funeral were smart ,professional and very respectful. We loved how traditional the whole process was and we're very grateful to all the stall at A V Smiths.
