Grate company would definitely recommend these to anyone who is after any kind of Skirting. The office Staff are so friendly, as well as really helpful with make sure you get best from them. The over all finsh of your product thats ordered from this company is done to the best standard ive had no problems with them alao the product was delivered on time without any problem.

Terrible! The quality of the skirting i ordered looked like my 7 year old blasted it with a paintbrush. Scuff marks where its just thrown around. To yop it off the mrs waited in to take the delivery between 8 am to 10 am. They didnnt even knock the door just dumped it up the side of the house. Camera shows them drop it and dissapear! Never again, cowboys. And dont even think of replying to me saying this and that cz i dont want it, u can stick it u frauds

After reading some negative reviews I thought it useful to review my experience. Ordered some picture rails, found website easy to use. Delivery was stated between 10 and 14 days, I did email on day 13 I think and received a reply day after advising delivery was slightly delayed, which wasn’t an issue for us. Received email and text on the day and items delivered as requested. Personally, I had no problem with that company and would have no issue using them again.

Ordered some skirting via B&Q 6 days ago, received and email on the day to say the order is being processed, had no updates since. I emailed today asking for a delivery date. Received a pretty blunt email saying it will be another 4 days and I just need to keep checking periodically for updates. 10 days delivery time seems like a long wait for something I couldn’t pick up in store.

Very poor quality MDF skirting delivered. Very difficult to return and still waiting on refund…

I'm old enough to know you pay for what you get but never learn. I ordered skirting and oak plugs from this company at a good price. I saw that delivery times were slow but now close to 4 weeks later I am still missing parts of my order. I have had to chase this with the wrong item then sent (someone else's order!) And have now been told that the delivery company have not collected my item and will now be sent next week! If you have a project you intend to do within a month use a different company. Not even offered compensation for the delays.

Skirting received was also poorly packaged and would be easily damaged but to be fair mine was received in decent condition.

Absolutely disappointed with this company and their customer service. We ordered flooring through B&Q (who, I must say, were excellent—helpful and reliable with no issues at all). Unfortunately, the supplier company was the complete opposite.

We initially ordered flooring and then needed additional packs to finish the work. Instead of receiving 6 packs, we only got 5—and 4 of those were completely damaged. After contacting them, we requested replacements: one missing pack plus new ones to cover the damaged goods. When they finally arrived (after more delays), one of the packs was damaged again.

Every stage involved endless emails, slow responses, and long delivery times, which postponed our flooring project by more than 3 weeks. To make matters worse, when we ended up not needing one pack and asked about returning it, we were told the return cost was more than half the price of the pack itself.

This whole experience was frustrating, time-wasting, and unprofessional. I would never use this company again, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid them.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
Ordered skirting boards & paid extra for priming, so all I had to do was paint them.
The quality was awful, scuff marks, black marks, finger marks all over them.
& after reading previous reviews, stating they were looking into improving this process, it's clear nothing has changed.
Sent them back, got the next batch delivered, that were refused at point of delivery because the quality was worse than the first ones.
Even the delivery driver agreed and apologised before once again, returning them.
Just really poor.
Asked for a full refund, was told because they aren't faulty, I would be liable for a 40% returns charge?!?(poor quality product is not a fault apparently)
So literally, deduct 40% from my refund for their poor quality product.
After several emails & after refusing to accept the 40% charge, I reluctantly decided to have the skirting boards returned after the company had sanded them down...
Was hoping for 3rd time lucky.
And to my surprise......(or not really)
Then came back a 3rd time in a poor state.
Primed, sanded in house, but not ready for painting by the time they reached me.
The skirting boards are not suitably protected and wrapped up prior to delivery, so regardless of how much care they take in prepping their product, unless you protect/wrap them adequately before delivering them, quality issues will arise more often than they need to.
The whole experience was really poor from start to finish.
Certainly wouldn't recommend these to anyone, nor would I use them again.

3 times, poor quality.

I bought MDF primed architrave and skirting. No problem with delivery. However, finish quality is very poor and I am now spending a very long time having to sand the whole profile as its very rough and "burred" and looks shocking. Dont know if this is due to it being machined from MDF but would never use this again.

I decided to call the company prior to purchasing the goods. Thankfully I did as they advertise delivery SLA and don’t adhere to them. It seems from the feedback this is not a one time occurrence. The customer service was poor and not particularly helpful. If you do decide to to go with them please call before placing order or find an alternative the price differences are not much !!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From start to finish, the team was professional, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. The skirting boards are fantastic quality and have completely transformed the look of my home. Ordering was simple, delivery was prompt, and the boards arrived in perfect condition. It’s so refreshing to find a company that clearly takes pride in both their products and their customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

Ordered 14 packs of Dartmoor gloss effect laminate flooring through B&Q but they delivered rustic effect instead. The delivery driver said the gloss effect was out of stock.
There was no prior contact asking if I would accept a substitution.
I paid £30.23 per pack for the gloss, the rustic effect they sent cost £23.68 per pack, a total difference of £102.20.
I have contacted B&Q twice to get the difference refunded but they say I must contact National Skirting.
I’ve now contacted National Skirting three times using a link on my invoice, the first time more than three weeks ago.
They have not replied.
Terrible customer service, will never buy from them again.

You have not communicated with me previously. B&Q keep telling me to contact the seller which is National skirting.
If you do not stock Dartmoor gloss effect why was it advertised on B&Q marketplace listing you as the seller?
It clearly states on my order I wanted gloss effect. Why didn’t you contact me to ask if I would accept a substitution?

The pine architrave I purchased was poorly manufactured with irregular sizes and other manufacturing faults, there appears to have been a nick in the cutting tool used as there was a bump in the rounded surface. Customer service was helpful and offered a replacement if the original was returned to them. My score reflects the lack of quality control.
