High quality product at good value. Beautiful sandstone parasol base with teak effect parasol - looks great and excellent value for money given the high quality too. These things can go for twice the price on other websites. Would definitely use Ruma again.

Really clear communication and good product with easy instructions.

I bought a huge umbrella and 120kg base from Ruma online, expensive as you would expect. Honestly I have had an epic task to get this delivered correctly however I can report that Ruma, Nigel in particular, have worked so hard to sort this out. It took a long time but we got there in the end. It is how companies deal with issues (which are going to happen occasionally) that sets them apart and he worked tirelessly to get this delivered and set up for us. HOWEVER I am updating my review as of today 27 August 2026. Having had their 2 employees put together this parasol and finally thinking I was done, it has been dropping bolts left, right and center. In dread, I finally contacted Ruma and Nigel. Mark who put it together returned, he sent it off with videos etc. I get a call today to say ah he had actually not put it together properly... I am done with this company. No apology. I want either a new replacement so I can work through the instructions (which I don't have either) and build a new one or a full refund. If their own employee after months of delivery fiasco can't put it together properly, I have entirely lost faith in this firm... avoid...

Beautiful product, very pleased.
Incredibly difficult to get nuts and bolts out of packaging though. Delivery company were awful and have escalated this to Ruma.
All this said, would purchase from the again

Good product, good price, great service

Been looking for this item for a while. Found it at Ruma for a good price, so decided to buy it. I’m very happy with the item now it has arrived however delivery was terrible and unfortunately this has put me off using them again. I had to chase a number of times and track my own parcel down and although Ruma customer service were very responsive, it just made purchasing very frustrating. Change your courier and I’d definitely use again. You look to have some great products.

Very speedy delivery but I had no notice of delivery and happened to be in luckily. Product as described and very well packed.
Enquiries about other items were answered quickly and precisely by sales.

I ordered a linen cupboard which arrived promptly but had unfortunately been damaged in transit. I contacted customer services who were excellent. They arranged a collection and 2nd delivery for a day to suit me to avoid messing around. Very professional customer service from Ruma, and I'm very pleased with my linen cupboard.

Ruma is a responsible, excellent business from my experience. I've now purchased five different pieces of furniture from them. One of the pieces came damaged and with one email, a replacement was sent within days and a collection was sorted. I'd asked if the collection could take place after delivery of the replacement and that was no problem for them at all. The furniture is of excellent quality and I was able to get some great discounts in the sale, too. Now, Ruma is a regular place I look at first when more home furniture and accessories are needed.

Bell lamp shades arrived swiftly and were good quality. Also, I hadn’t found what I had been looking for elsewhere.

Ordered a large lampshade which unfortunately arrived damaged. The lampshade itself is great quality though is unfortunately too small for the standard lamp. Ross from Customer service was quick to respond and persevered while we found a way to get my photos through to him, at which point the refund was immediately processed - thank you Ross. It's always a leap of faith to buy products like this online, but I would confidently buy from Ruma again.
