Skirtech Avis 

I bought around 26mts of skirting for a job. Some lengths were damaged during transport (no fault of Skirtech)which left me a little short to complete. I understand that this can happen during transport and was willing to order and pay for additional.
Contacted company and Joe Phillips refused payment and is sending additional length free of charge.
Outstanding service will definitely use again 👏🏻

Fantastic company! I ordered some MDF skirting boards for two single bedrooms. They arrived on time, with no chips or dents, were easy to install, and already look great even before painting.
I forgot to add one trim to my order, but the team got back to me immediately and added it without any hassle.
I’ll definitely be returning when I’m ready for my next project.

I placed an order with Skirtech on 15th October for skirting boards. On 20th October, I emailed to advise that I work shifts and wanted to arrange delivery for one of my days off. The manager replied to confirm delivery for 28th October, but since I was working that day, I rescheduled it for 30th October — my next available day off.

On 29th October, I received two emails: one from Skirtech stating the goods had been sent to the courier DX, and another from DX confirming an all-day delivery for 30th October.
However, by midday on the 30th, I called Skirtech to ask for an estimated delivery time and was told the order would not be delivered today, as DX had not scanned the items.

When I emailed the manager again, I was told this was the courier’s fault and that it was “out of their hands.” There was no apology or ownership of the issue — just deflection. I was then advised delivery would happen tomorrow, when I’m back at work and unable to receive it.

To make matters worse, I contacted DX directly via live chat, and they confirmed they had not even received the goods from Skirtech — contradicting what I had been told.

As someone who works as a sales manager for a company with over £100 million turnover, I find this level of service and communication unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a company handles them — and in this case, Skirtech showed no accountability or courtesy.

I wouldn’t recommend Skirtech based on my experience. Other customers should be aware of potential miscommunication, poor delivery management, and lack of customer care.

Update:
Shortly after posting my review — within about 30 seconds — I received an email from the manager stating they would now refund my order instead of delivering it, saying they had planned to reorganise delivery for Tuesday but changed their mind because of my review.

This response really reinforces my earlier concerns about how Skirtech handles customers and feedback.

A professional business should view feedback as an opportunity to improve, not a reason to withdraw service.

The skirting boards and architrave are very good quality and Cheapest around, I am very happy with my purchases .

Placed the order on a Friday and needed to make a small change to the order. emailed the company to request the change. all sorted before delivery. cant fault them. communicated with me from the date of order to date of delivery. Ordering was easy online and price was very competitive. I had to call customer servie with an addition which was dealt with promptly. I was kept updated throughout the process by email and order arrived well packaged. I would recommend buying from this company.

First Class service from start to finish, after ordering id realised an error on my part, contacted them straight away and the issue was resolved, they went over and above in this instance, absolutely amazing, I was constantly kept updated with the order and when delivered it was fully protected to prevent any transit issues.

Happy with my products. delivery was the issue … delivery drivers are through a seperate company why skirtech use them god knows !
2nd delivery was better and the driver on both occasions was nice.

I placed a large order of the MDF stepped 3 architrave and skirtings from skirtech in various sizes.
They look fab!

Order arrived one day earlier than scheduled which was great.

Some one the skirting and architrave arrived chipped and dented but the majority were perfect.
Due to the volume of the ordered we managed to use the damaged one as off cuts so it did not stop our project progressing but it is something to be mindful of when ordering.

The product arrived on time and the architrave matched exactly the description. I had a small issue regarding the primer but this was resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I would recommend this company and will certainly use this company again. Great customer service.

I accidentally made a small mistake on my order and Skirtech made the change quickly and efficiently for me. There was a small charge I should have paid but they waived it for me. Excellent.

I have ordered skirts with this company. The parcels arrived thrown on front of my house, with packaging opened and several damaged planks. I asked for replacement of the damaged items which they said they would do, but never arrived... Multiple times, I called again requesting for update in the replacement and always answering the planks where coming, even after weeks they never did.... Avoid them, never seen such a bad customer support and so many lies. They never answered one single email from me. I understand now why rating websites are useful. Do not order with them, you will be disappointed, such a waist of time and energy....

I bought some MDF skirting boards and the quality is excellent.
The packaging was very good which ensures there was no damage during transit.
Delivery was speedy and the customer service was excellent.
