What a joke of a company 😡 still not dispatched July boxes yet already charged for August box this is a joke

Just received Portugal and oh my goodness best one yet! We love this as a family every month to try different sweets and chocolate we would never have gone for before. We've loved it so much weve upgraded to premium to get so much more goodies! Thanks snackverse!

At the start it was a novelty waiting to see which country you get.
They advertised as “ snacks from around the world”. This hasn’t been my experience. I’m currently trying to unsubscribe as after 14 months I’ve not received 1 from outside Europe.
Very much variation on a similar theme and not the USA or Japan the advertise. Also, the price shown on their website has increased from what’s shown several months ago but not been altered.
Now trying to cancel but reading reviews regarding this it might not be a simple process!

Two payments taken and no box arrived yet. Asked to cancel - they insist on phone call. Absolute chancers

Terrible a month delayed for my first box . I ordered original box and was missing 3 items.. not even worth a fiver. Save ur money and go to local European shop and make ur own box

Horrendous company to deal with.
Communication is limited to say the least with replies all being abrupt and generic.
The business model has slipped so far now every month it takes longer and longer to get what you have paid for the previous month. This month we're at 44 days after payment with some baloney about heat being the driver.
Cancellation of subscription is way more convoluted than it should be. They maintain it's easy to cancel but it's not.
Under the right leadership this would be a great product. Such a shame.

Wish I’d never taken out the subscription the snacks are nice but it’s definitely not worth the money or the hassle chasing up the boxes I’ve not had one box on time still waiting on box 4 of my 6 month subscription. Tried to cancel as says you can do this on line but you can’t it takes you to a page that asks you to give them a call. It’s a great concept but clearly not very well managed or delivered.

Cancelling with them is a procedure you don't want to take, only accept phone cancellation. I emailed mutliple times to be told they only accept phone cancellations and on phone told that if you say you don't want to phone we can cancel over email. That shouldn't be a step required to cancel my subscription. avoid, they'll take payments you've tried to stop already many times, overpriced and deliveries are always late.

Feels like a Scam company now.
The boxes (when they arrive) 10/10 they’re amazing, the snacks are great.
But they don’t make the snacks, they just create issues with customers again and again, makes it nearly impossible to cancel the subscription and feels like they ignore any email with “cancel” in it.
3 months I’ve ordered boxes and 3 times they’ve arrived late and after the renewal date. Month 1 I had to email them to remind them to send it. Month 2 was apparently to the “heatwave” and the date of the box being shipped was always “tomorrow”. Month 3 box hasn’t arrived yet or even been shipped, was supposed to be shipped the 13th after delay, now online it says the 17th and yet still no update. They also raised the box by £1 per month without chance to cancel the box.

Amazing concept and product, absolute horrible execution and customer service.

Ordered a pack middle of July 17 . Never received to date

Took August payment out well before the due date because of their "cycles* despite it saying next payment was not until 17th August. did receive a refund for that but they told me July's was about to be sent out so couldn't get a refund for that and have it before the the end of last week. It was not it was delayed

Finally got a refund for that as well

Website is very misleading as to payment dates and cycles. They say you can cancel online ... You can't you have to call.

The fact you pay for a box and have to wait for over month, and pay for a 2nd month in that time places this firmly in Scam territory

The snacks in the boxes (once you get them) are nice, and my husband & son are enjoying them - that’s what the 1 star is for. The rest is an absolute joke! We didn’t get the June box until the middle of July, which they only let me know about because I emailed them to ask where my order was. And now we’re on the 17th of August and the July box still hasn’t turned up! I’ve only received generic copy & paste responses to my emails, and I was told they’d dispatch from the 13th of August, but that clearly hasn’t happened. I was offered a 20% discount on the next box, but if it carries on like this I’m going to cancel. And if you go on their facebook page, they delete or hide all negative comments, this morning there were quite a few complaints and now they’ve all gone. This just makes the whole thing feel dishonest and they’re obviously still trying to get new customers whilst not actually fulfilling the orders of current ones. They take the money very promptly from my bank - why don’t we get the same service in return?

Avoid this company like the plague they will tempt you in with a 50% discount. You'll wait 2 months for that to arrive. While waiting for that first box they continue to take the full price subscriptions. Ive now paid for 3 boxes and only received one. No box in July and no box as of yet for this month. They are taking orders they cant fulfill and using tik tok influencers to spread there brand. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!! YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. Im having to go through the bank to get my money back

I have been loving my monthly snack boxes! It’s fun to try different snacks from all over, some places I’ll likely never be able to visit myself.
There’s always a good range of sweet and savoury, plus a wee drink, and can guarantee all the snacks will be scoffed up quickly.

Some people have complained about the delivery service, and while there have been delays etc, I don’t think that reflects on the quality.
As a small business, we need to remember that they are human too!

Still waiting on july box and they have taking August payment. Very hard to get a response also you can't cancel online you have to call . Rang my bank to get a block on them as I don't trust they have cancelled my subscription.

Order from July 3rd still hasn't been received.

The company responds on Facebook with generic template messages but email is another story.

In every message I have received it has assured me that orders would be dispatched on August 13th - this includes messages as recently as last week however, today I get an email saying that dispatches will start today.

This may be the case but will Snackverse remain in touch? No, I should get an email once my order is with the courier.

Honestly, one star is generous!
Looks like they can't keep up with the amount of orders and just pass it off as a made up issue.
