⚠️ AVOID — TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL

I honestly wish I had never subscribed to SnackVerse.

Trying to cancel the subscription has been an absolute nightmare. They allow you to start the cancellation process through your online account, but once you actually try to cancel, they make you jump through retention offers and ultimately tell you that you have to phone them to cancel. Why make it so difficult?

The customer service is just as bad. Emails simply go unanswered. I have contacted them about a box that never arrived and have received no proper response and no refund or replacement.

And when the boxes do arrive, the condition of some of the products has been extremely disappointing. I’ve received boxes containing damaged and broken items, including crisp packets and biscuits that have been crushed to the point where they’re basically crumbs.

So you’re paying for a subscription, potentially don’t receive your box at all, can’t get a response when something goes wrong, and then have difficulty cancelling.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before subscribing. I’m extremely disappointed with both the service and the way customers are treated when they have a problem.

Used snackverse for a few years, it was very good in the main, yes, sometimes things were late but never had an issue chasing up and support was fine in our case. Just cancelled as we got a bit bored and majority of the packs were from Europe. But ultimately it was fun and no issues at all calling to cancel. Recommended for a bit of fun.

They are very helpful when you need help and the snacks from different countries are amazing can try new foods without leaving the country

Great value for money. We look forward to receiving our box each month. So much fun trying the snacks throughout the month and rating them ourselves. I love that the little information booklet also contains cultural information and recipes from that country. The only downside is the deliveries have been quite inconsistent. However, our first box was only in June and both delays have had legitimate reasons, especially considering it’s a small business. That being said, the boxes have always arrived so can’t complain too much. Overall, would definitely recommend Snackverse :)

Paid 3 months worth of boxes and not had a single one arrive, i cancelled it now but it disappoints me as all the people on tiktok and stuff all say its good but none of mine arrived and i have been paying fir 3 months!

I have received 2 boxes but paid for 5 months. When you email looking for answers there's always an excuse for the missing box. They've got a great concept going but unfortunately it is being managed by money grabbing liars. I have told them to cancel my subscription. Very very untrustworthy.

Great item, lovely choice of snacks. Love the different country idea. Reasonable price for what you get.
Delivery is a bit ad hoc, so it turns up when it turns up, but so far so good. My kids and husband love it. We have the original subscription and it's great.

After trying this company I think I'm well within my rights to explain what I've experienced since I signed up for my 1st box as it hasn't been the best and to be honest it has scared me off subscribing for any more especially due to the long delays, zero communication and no updates when it comes to shipping and the item being out for delivery. One thing I really don't like about this company when it comes to the shipping and I'm not speaking about delays, the delays are a nuisance but they aren't a big problem as I understand that will happen with sourcing snacks from over the world, but all this to do with the shipping is ridiculous for a company as big as this who should already have this set up, makes no sense why it isn't set up. No updates as to when it's being shipped or out for delivery, it's like they just expect their customers are mind readers and that we will be able to telepathically tell when it's been shipped and out for delivery!! how are customers meant to organise their week and days around making sure they are home for this package if it gives you ZERO updates and I mean zero updates about anything you get a confirmation email confirming your subscription etc but nothing gets sent via email or text to confirm delivery and shipping and they just left mines at my door and luckily my neighbour took it in at the time and she was able to go out and grab it, had she not seen that there's no telling what would've happened if it had been left out in my shared close any longer and especially whilst I was out the house, would've been a very high possibility of it being stolen (as we've had several neighbours have parcels stolen from their front door by other neighbours in here) so again HUGE reason to not buy from this company as I work and volunteer so I'm out the house a lot and I was relying on a company as large as this to at least have a system where it sends out automated messages when it's items are being shipped/out for delivery. Also zero communication on delays where you feel like you have to hound them on the phone to find out what's going on.

I ordered on the 12th of July and didn't receive my 1st box until the 20th of August. I actually cancelled my subscription after 3 weeks as I honestly thought it was a scam I was thinking the worst and that the only reason it is popular is because they had 'content creators' receiving free goods and reviewing for them from a biased opinion and it made no sense how they had so many content creators speaking positively about them when my experience was how unprofessional the company comes across.

When I called Snackverse by phone a lady told me these two boxes I've already paid for would still be delivered but then I panicked when I signed in to snackverse the next week to see if it actually updates you on the website and it said that my two orders I'd paid for had been cancelled, again this lady on the phone knew I was a new customer and did not explain to me that if this comes up saying cancelled don't think or worry that you won't receive your item it just reads cancelled due to future payments not being taken anymore, none of that was said and I had to do my research and find out myself whereas if they know someone is a 1st time customer surely they must know that we won't know how the service is, to others these delays and zero communication or updates on shipping might not annoy others but I'd imagine others like me in a similar position will not want to use this service for this either.

The snacks - yes there was a large variety of snacks that we'd never seen or tried before but then there was also a lot of snacks in there that we can get ourselves in the local shops, as we received crisps, chocolate bars, jelly sweets and chewing gum that we could all get in the UK easily. It's not a complaint just an observation as we did enjoy the snacks and enjoyed the wee booklet telling you about the different snacks and the little recipes from their local delicacies.

I must say all of the stuff surrounding the service really overshadows snackverse unfortunately, because in my eyes the boxes aren't good enough to be putting up with service that you receive, maybe if they sorted that side of things it would elevate this company in my eyes but the lack of shipping & delivery updates as well as the delays and zero communication, it is enough to make you unsubscribe. If they had the communication, delivery and shipping updates nobody would complain or bother about the little delays each month.

Currently going back and forth with snack verse, I am still awaiting a July box and it’s nearly September, I had an email to say it would be delayed which was fine, they have finally ‘dispatched’ the parcel, although evri have told me they’ve not recieved the parcel it hasn’t moved for over a week, I have emailed snack verse and been told that if it doesn’t update after 10 days they’ll send me another one! Pretty annoyed considering this is the first time using them and ordered the biggest most expensive box they do!

I’ve now cancelled my subscription and won’t be using again.

Great boxes really, jam packed full of stuff, and that stuff is good, however, I find "snackverse" misleading it is literally "snackeurope" this Portugal one is our 9th box and not one was from out of Europe!!

Me and my partner love our snack boxes, definitely recommend!! It’s so fun trying all the different snacks from different countries, the booklet it comes with is amazing and has recipies in the back of it and explains what each snack is which is awesome!

I saw lots of advertisement on social media so thought to give it a go as they sounded okay. They took 2 months of payments and almost at the third but only just received the first box. I finally got told that I was receiving the box and it came with items for Turkey which I thought was interesting however every item I have tried so far have tasted stale and the packs received were tiny. It is not worth the £23 you pay.
I then tried to cancel and they make it almost impossible.

My kids have loved this! We have been doing it a few years now and they love seeing which country they have got and what they are going to get. I started it when my husband deployed to give them something to look forward to and it did the job. Now they are getting older and we have had loads of boxes through it is time for us to cancel our subscription and even the phone call to do that was easy and they were very helpful. Thank you.

Took 2 payments from me. Never recieved a thing from them just constantly fobbed off saying ‘ it’s being processed’ - not one correspondence email just blatant lies.

Generic AI replies saying the same crap every time. I did charge back through my bank and got my money back. Terrible - do not recommend

Avoid this company at all costs, they can't deliver what they claim, its now the 20th August im still waiting for July box and they're telling if have to wait another 10 days just to investigate
Tbh I think its an actual scam as they've already tried to take another 2 payments, luckily I cancelled with my bank before they had chance.

July box still not received tracking not updated since Monday . This is my first ever box and will likely be my last unless I receive it tomorrow . Very poor service

We received out first July box which was Portugal and me and my wife absolutely loved the snacks in them which we tried together, it was so good that we decided to upgrade to the premium box which for what you get in them are totally worth the price each month! We can’t wait to see what we get for our August month 🙂✨

Items in box were lovely, had a bit of an issue with our first box but that was a supplier issue meaning that it was late being dispatched but that can't be helped. Our family loved it so much we've upgraded our subscription

Love it so much, so much fun guessing the country and always get a booklet full of information about the respective country. Full of quizzes and information.
Just upgraded to the premium box, customer service was great, efficient and no problem.
Box and contents are very well packed, never had a damaged box.
