Only had a couple of boxes but pleased overall with both. First box was Spain and the second was Portugal, so the items seemed a little similar but both were good. Box was delayed but I was notified by email and kept up to date so wasn’t an issue. Still working our way through the latest box and looking forward to the next. I’ve opted for the premium box and you get plenty of goodies in there.

Big issue is the lack of variety of countries that you'll receive. I got my partner a 12 month subscription last year and so far we've had: Netherlands, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Sweden, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Portugal.

I'd been hoping for something a little unusual and quirky...Japan, Mexico, India, China, South Africa...but nada. As such, the snacks are good, but very little novelty on offer.

Neither of us is massively excited about the last three boxes, sadly.

Shame, because this is a great concept and the packaging/booklet are very cute.

These boxes are great fun. We come together as a family when the box gets delivered to see what country we’ve got and try out all the snacks. Would be nice to get Japan or USA like advertised but so far we are very pleased and have since upgraded to the bigger box.

Just finished the Spain box and it was amazing! I look forward to every month receiving the big box of snacks I get. Lots of new things to try and experience with the subscription. I'm looking forward to trying the next box!

I love this subscription! The fact that you never know what country you will be getting from month to month and being able to have a taster of different snacks and drinks is brilliant. I subscribe to the biggest box and it’s always crammed full with goodies. Highly recommend.

Our family decided to try snack verse and we loved it had it for months now and my kids love the different countries.

Absolutely loved my Snackverse boxes. Such a fun way to try snacks and sweets from different countries, with a really good variety in each box. Everything was well packaged and it genuinely feels like a little surprise opening it and seeing what’s inside. Great idea for a gift too — would definitely recommend!

I’ve had two boxes already and can’t wait to get my next one. I really can’t wait to see what country I’m getting next. The boxes are value for money with so much to choose from. Highly recommend.

Got to admit the delivery of this company and the cooperation is poor but when the product comes the son really enjoyed it

We were really excited to try this, kept putting it off but finally decided to give it a go!
Annoyingly our first box was spain and our next(which was massively delayed) was Portugal which is of course right next to Spain, was hoping for more variety but the snacks were different and we got 2 drinks with this box so we're happy with it, we're still getting through the Portugal box, liking all of the snacks so far :D we're hoping Augusts box(which is also delayed) will be a bit further afield, we're hoping for some non-EU boxes as I've read that most of the boxes are EU based, hoping for America or Japan at some point.

Absolutely amazing. Love the contents inside the box always got me on my toes on what the next month is going to be. Sometimes theres delays however, expected as of the fact theres so many to go through but Absolutely amazing. Pricing is decent as well however wish if you get the original box atleast get 2 more things in it

The snack box themselves are fun and probably reasonably priced in this day and age. The company itself however comes off as slightly disingenuous, shipping dates constantly changing, cancellations nearly impossible, despite saying it can easily be cancelled on their website through your account in the subscription tab, but you are left with no choice but to call them, only to be told over and over again that their lines are busy, and rather than putting you on hold like most companies, they hang up on you, so knowing when to phone is anyone's guess

I liked to get snacks and drinks from different country's and the joys of knowing they were coming that day. I tried things that i wouldn't normally try and some I wished I could have again if I visited that country. My favourite one I got was Spain as my grandma lives there and I got to try what she eats.

That's how they get you as obviously you give them your card details & sign up because they tell you you can cancel anytime no commitment. I intended to get the first box cancel my subscription and see what the box was like before committing to them monthly so the week before my first box is being sent out I attempted to cancel, it should be a straight forward process through your account which wouldn't even need any input from a human but they've designed it to eventually tell you you have to call them to cancel they're using underhanded tactics so you have to pay more even if they get another month out of you that's a lot of revenue for them and as others have said their customer service is difficult to get through to (intentional?!)
I'll be contacting trading standard and anyone else experiencing the same issues trying to end your contract I suggest you do the same.

*update I spoke to their customer service yesterday who told me they will cancel my subscription and until the next payment my account will be showing as pending cancellation I check my account today (the next day) and it's still showing as active, the next months payment is due in 2 days. I try to contact them dead on 9am and my call keeps getting thrown out of their automated system saying they're too busy, it makes me wonder if they've blocked my phone number. So I contact my bank and explain the situation and they have been able to block any further VISA payments to 'Scamverse' I suggest anyone having the same issue to do this it's the only way to guarantee they can't steal your money!

Avoid this company – appalling customer service and no June box after 2 months

I honestly cannot believe how badly this company has handled what should be a very simple issue.

I paid for my June SnackVerse box and it STILL hasn’t arrived — approximately two months later.

I have contacted customer service multiple times and every single time I have been given the same pathetic response: “so sorry”, “it will be dispatched in the next few days” etc. I have been repeatedly reassured that it was going to be sent, only for absolutely nothing to happen.

I have been patient. I have given them chance after chance to sort this out. I have emailed them again and again, and I have even specifically asked for my complaint to be escalated to management.

Now they have simply stopped responding to me altogether.

So to be clear: they have taken my money, failed to provide the product I paid for, repeatedly told me it would be dispatched, failed to do so, and are now ignoring me.

That is not customer service. That is completely unacceptable.

I don’t want another apology. I don’t want another generic response telling me it will be dispatched “in the next few days”. I want my money back.

The most frustrating part is that this could have been resolved weeks ago if someone had simply taken responsibility and dealt with it properly. Instead, I’ve wasted an enormous amount of time chasing a company for something I’ve already paid for.

I would strongly advise anyone considering subscribing to think twice. A company can have great products, but if something goes wrong, their customer service is what matters — and based on my experience, SnackVerse’s customer service has been absolutely appalling.

Two months. Multiple emails. Repeated promises. No box. No refund. Now no response.

Absolutely disgraceful.

It was okay to begin with but then you end up getting the same boxes on repeat, and never really get the advertised 'Canada' or 'Korea' box. A lot of it is all EU and then maybe one Australia.

The delivery was okay but cancelling was a nightmare too. You need to call up and speak to an agent who then tries to talk you out of cancelling, understandable as they want to keep people on their subscription but they make it very difficult to cancel.

I am just glad I've cancelled, I wouldn't recommend for the reason of value of money, and constant repeated boxes/countries.

I’ve just had my first box delivered and whilst it was late (there was an email explaining it would be) Everything was so good we decided to upgrade from the mini to the original. Sent an email and a few days later they have organised the upgrade. It’s really fun to do with the family and the book contains a couple of recipes and facts etc so was more interesting than I expected. Hope I’m not too early giving a good review as I’ve seen quite a few negatives but so far I’m pleased with what I’ve paid for.

Really enjoyed trying different snacks from other countries it was an interesting experience, me and my partner loved going through it every month and i'd definitely recommend it to others. The food is always fresh and there is always something you will like.

We really love our box- it’s a fun family moment when it arrives and we all try to guess the country! The kids always want the drinks first so they disappear immediately! Still waiting for New Zealand tho, like the advert I originally clicked on…
