I would use it again
I have tried this service only once, and have absolutely no reason to complain. I followed the instructions to the letter, and everything went like clockwork. I would definitely use Sterling FX again.

Purchasing Fijian dollars from Sterling FX was easy. Delivery was delayed of one day because of their supplier being unable to deliver the currency (faulty vehicle). However, I was updated quickly and received an apologies message. I would use Sterling FX services again.

Used the ‘GBP Cash Delivered to your Home’ service. Very efficient company.
My wife and I are both housebound so visiting a bank or ATM to access cash is out of the question.
My own bank doesn’t deliver cash so we were so pleased to find out that SterlingFX offered this service.
I’m sure if this service was more widely advertised, many more people would take advantage of it.

Careless service
When I placed an order on 3rd July, I did not notice that their website had over ridden the address I had entered and instead defaulted to an address I had apparently used years ago. They pointed out that this was my fault because I had not picked up on the incorrect address in the confirmation email. I had not remembered that I'd used this company before. I was then forced between choosing to cancel and lose £20 or have the currency re-delivered for £12. I chose the cheaper option. When they received my payment, I was advised on the Monday the currency would be dispatched the following day (Tuesday) and I would receive it Wednesday. I did not receive it. I was not given a tracking number. I asked where the currency was and received a confusing answer. I asked for clarification and a tracking reference and I have been ignored. I have asked twice more and still no response. As other one star reviews have pointed out on here, the customer service is a joke. They are totally non-caring and irresponsible.

After reviewing your order, we can confirm that the delivery address used was the one saved on your account at the time of purchase. During checkout, the final order confirmation page clearly displayed all of your order details, including the delivery address, giving you the opportunity to review and amend them before placing your order. The same address was also included in your order confirmation email.
Once the address issue came to light, we offered the available options in line with our terms, and the order was re-dispatched to the updated address you provided. According to Royal Mail Track & Trace, the currency has since been successfully delivered.
We apologise if our communication did not meet your expectations. Providing good customer service is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve.

First time using sterling to buy foreign currency. Very easy and very quick service. I've given 4 stars as I placed my order but the website said my order didn't go through and no funds will be collected. The funds came out my account and no follow up email regarding this. However I managed to contact Sterling about the issue who reassured me my order went through and kept me informed of my order.

I have used Sterling FX before but not…
I have used Sterling FX before but not for a while, I tried to get Euros locally it was for a fairly large amount as taking all family abroad our treat, went to 2 banks they only offered a few 50 euro notes and the rest in 20's and 10's, they told me they rarely hold hundreds and 2 hundred notes, no good to me traveling with a ridiculous wad of notes, Sterling FX second to none ordered yesterday about 1 pm just had delivery perfect, from now on will always use them, what a service perfection!!!
