We have recently part exchanged our house for a new home at Hackett Grange. From the very first appointment, Keiran has been fantastic and made the whole process less overwhelming. He has been so accommodating to us, including us bringing our toddler to appointments and making sure he felt included - always going the extra mile.
On top of this, the communication and support from Laura has been exemplary, by helping us navigate the process and keeping us updated!

We went to the Seely Fields development in Somercotes and were helped by Ruby and Kornelija. They were really lovely, showed us videos, showed us around the houses that were available and answered all of our questions. They even had snacks and drinks the second time we came. Amazing customer service! Unfortunately the houses weren’t suitable for us and we found one elsewhere but highly recommend for customer service.
Good experience sales and after sales
We moved into our new home in March, and overall we’ve had a very positive experience with the Darach Field team.
During the sales process, Caroline was extremely helpful, responsive, and supportive, making everything much smoother for us. After moving in, Andrew (the site manager) has been outstanding. He is technically very knowledgeable and genuinely committed to ensuring everything is done properly.
We submitted our snagging list about four weeks after moving in, and the progress since then has been very reassuring. Most of the snags have already been completed, many of them personally handled or overseen by Andrew. What really stood out is how proactive he is—he regularly checks in, knocks on the door to follow up, and makes sure nothing is missed.
It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about customer satisfaction, which makes a big difference after moving into a new-build home.
Overall, we’re very happy with the service and support we’ve received so far, and we appreciate the team’s continued effort to address everything promptly

Appalling Customer Service
We visited the sales office at the beginning of April and requested information on the available homes. I was informed that they would get back to me during the following week. I called on the same day, as I had further questions, the same person said she would call me back within half an hour. I have not been contacted with information and have had no call back. I went in again this weekend and said that nobody had come back to me, the sales person was just rude and said that she "running the place single handed" yet there is nobody there at 10am when it is supposed to open and it is all closed up by 4pm when it us supposed to be open until 5.

We had such a great experience working with Keiran from Hackett Grange. From start to finish, he was amazing at helping us through the whole process and made everything feel so easy and stress-free. As first-time buyers, we had no idea what we were doing, but Keiran guided us every step of the way with patience and clarity. He really turned what could have been a stressful time into an enjoyable and exciting experience. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Poppy and Leah have been amazing throughout the whole process. They were always approachable, patient, and extremely helpful at every stage. They made everything feel much less stressful and were always there to guide me when needed. Really grateful for their support!

Excellent and professional service from both Lynsey and Drew. They supported us through the viewings and they provided all relevant information on the reservation process. They explained everything clearly and nothing was too much trouble to discuss. We look forward to moving to our new home in the near future.

Horrendous
*EDIT- I have submitted my details following Avants response however as majority of those involved in my case are no longer with the company, the most we are going to get is ‘sorry’. Going through this time and time again is tiring and I’m no longer interested in ‘sorry’ I have made this review to simply warn others of my experience and hope no one else has to go through what I have, including being told my baby will be safe to sleep in a room stinking of gloss paint and were made to leave our home for 6 nights. There however, one member of staff who is trying to sort our outstanding snags but does not make all previous go away.
Horrendous! Start to finish. Moved in February 2025 still have snags outstanding over a year later. Workmanship disgraceful, customer services, disgraceful. The time it would take me to tell you off all of our snags, Tom foolery and disgusting behaviour from a company that will not hold itself accountable is unreal.
Majority of our site is looking into solicitors legal claims. Avant have ruined my maternity leave and the time leading up to the birth of my first child. Unless you have the will to fight for over a year (some of our neighbours almost 2 years) don’t bother. Disgrace of a company with no compassion and staff, including an MD who cannot be bothered.

Jim and Alan the After care technician for Draffen Park were great. They took time to hear our issues and were happy to help in anyway that they could. The great thing was that they spoke through everything and confirmed everything that they will be doing work on and when they would be looking to do the work. Thanks again

Promised the world and delivered an island, and apparently I am one of the lucky ones?? Flippant with complaints and speaking to site staff it's continuous. If you buy near a completion schedule be prepared to be shocked at what you get??? Area is a rat run

First time Buyers
We are first time buyers in the process of buying at the Hackett Grange Development. Keiran has been absolutely great from day one and helped us feel very at ease with the whole process. Effective communication with regular updates and a genuine care for his customers. So far it has been a smooth and stress free process and we are looking forward to moving into our new home soon!
