Very positive experience having shutters fitted to a large bedroom window. Admin very efficient and the fitter, Darren, was punctual, efficient and left the bedroom spotless after using his Henry hoover! Reasonable price too. I highly recommend Joe's shutters.

Placement of Order
I did not really want to put a rating down but would change if my issue is resolved. I received the quote after the guy completed the survey, when he left he said if I was interested I just needed to pay a deposit to place the order. I usually expect to pay around 50% but I could only find the full amount. I did mail and text but did not get a reply. So we still don't know what to do next.

The worst customer service we have ever…
The worst customer service we have ever experienced!!!!!!!!!
Whilst the initial installation was ok our blackout blind broke and they now want to charge £500 for 2 hours work to fit a replacement!

Thank you for your review, Melvin. We take all feedback seriously and strive to resolve issues fairly and amicably. After thoroughly reviewing your case, I'd like to clarify some details for the Trustpilot community:
Your original order was placed in November 2020. In January 2024, your wife ordered a replacement for a damaged blackout blind.
We initially quoted £466.43 for the replacement, including installation. Your wife opted out of paying for installation, and we agreed to supply the blind only.
As a gesture of goodwill, our installer personally delivered the blind and offered to install it free of charge, which your wife declined.
Unfortunately, your third-party installer failed to complete the installation, and it was alleged that the blind was faulty or incorrectly sized. A subsequent Zoom call confirmed that the blind was neither faulty nor the wrong size.
Our Head of Installations assessed that to resolve the issue, we would need to remove and refit your shutters with the new blind and make additional modifications. This is a complex task requiring more than "2 hours of work."
We cannot provide these specialized services, which include significant time, skill, and materials, free of charge.
We understand your frustration but must emphasize that professional services are chargeable to fairly compensate our skilled installers for their expertise, time, and also materials.

Cannot fault any part of the process. From initial contact to quote and then to fitting, everything was quick and easy. Darren was great and I would highly recommend Joes to anyone looking for shutters.

Twice as Nice
I engaged Joe's shutters to do my French doors after just having moved into my brand new home. I had previously engaged them to do shutters for my bedroom, kitchen and the living room and was completely blown away. Steve was awesome; very courteous and professional and left my house with beautiful shutters adorning my french doors. Top marks for quality and craftsmanship and thank you for a fantastic experience second time round!

The whole process, from initial enquiry to the fitting, was smooth and professional. The fitting itself, to a bay window which was far from square, proved a challenge, but Peter worked carefully, precisely and with great skill. The end result was superb, and we are thrilled with the outcome.

Joe’s Shutters have been flawless from start to finish! My shutters were made very quickly, and the installation was seamless. Darren was our installer and he was brilliant. He was quick and very tidy. I could not recommend them more highly!

Friendly, efficient and professional.
Could not ask for more - our survey was booked in quickly, the surveyor gave us an immediate and very competitive quote, manufacture took less time than predicted and the installation was smooth and competent. The installer took his time to make sure everything was right, even though that meant his not finishing until well after 5pm on a Friday evening. Friendly, efficient and professional. And the shutters look great.

What a shame I can't offer 6 stars! The process was smooth-sailing right from the off! Peter has been so helpful and considerate and he did a marvelous job with my shutters; I love how they look and they're the envy of the new-build estate I've moved into!
I can't wait for you to fit my patio doors, next :-)
