We contacted Joe's Shutters when we moved into our new house. We had five rooms measured and fitted for shutters and the service was brilliant from start to finish. The shutters were made and fitted within just a few weeks. Excellent customer service and communication and we are thrilled to bits with our shutters! Thanks Darren and the rest of the team.

The guy who came to measure and the guy who came to fit were both really nice, professional people. Beautiful shutters, we got the plastic as wanted to get British made (most shutters come from China) and they're indistinguishable from the wooden ones.

Very pleased with our shutters good service from start to finish. Our fitter Steve done a brilliant job.

We went with Joe’s Shutters, initially attracted by the simplicity of the product and process. Didn’t even really bother us too much that it turned out to be a separate arm of Clement Browne (while marketing perception was of something smaller…). Everything went well - but the whole experience finished with a sour taste and was ultimately let down at the end by Customer Service over a reach pole. A pole which we would never have thought of even needing if it wasn’t suggested to us to deal with our super tall shutters. Took a long time to respond, turned out ‘we didn’t request it’ even though we’d spoken specifically about it with the sales person. It wasn’t included in the quote (we didn’t notice). All they could offer was that if we wanted one, it would be £60 plus £10 delivery. Felt swizzled after spending nearly £4K, couldn’t get any goodwill gesture (this is a big established company) even after exchanges showed misunderstanding, ‘there was nothing they could do as it was my mistake’. I would’ve happily recommended to anyone but for this poor experience at the end.

Professional, responsive and above all a wonderful product. Our fitter, John, was brilliant. I highly recommend this company, you won’t be disappointed.

We recently had our shutters fitted by John one of the Joes fitters. We chose Joes because they supply and fit British made shutters. Our house is over 100 years old and the bedroom ceiling has a natural bow to it. John fitted the shutters in Bed 1 where the bow ceiling is and he’s made a fantastic job of them. We absolutely love our British made shutters and we would highly recommend. Thank you Joes x

I have to say, the customer service and end product we have received from Joe’s has been absolutely fantastic. Every member of staff I spoke with was always super friendly and the overall experience was excellent. Any questions and/or queries were answered quickly and efficiently.

In total we had three appointments to check the measurements for each window were correct as we had some rooms replastered between our measurement appointment and the shutters being made. We were kept in the loop at every stage, receiving text reminders before each appointment, and we were made aware our shutters would take a little longer (8 weeks) to be produced and fitted right from the offset. This was because we wanted our shutters to have the medium sized louvre and there was a delay on these at the time of purchase. I particularly like the fact that they have been made so you can shut the lower portion of the shutter but leave the top open. This allows you to still let light in with the additional privacy if you wish.
The shutters make our house feel like a home and completely transform the overall look of the front of the property.

I will not have any hesitation in highly recommending Joe’s to all friends and family in the future.

They made it so easy! I was reminded of their visits by text to measure up and fit in good time. All three employees were extremely efficient and friendly, a pleasure to have in my home and really considerate about the current restrictions.

Turned up at the allocated time to install the shutter. The shutter itself looks great and seems to be very good quality.

I would highly recommend Joe’s shutters. I have a really big bay window so the only solution was to have shutters. They came to measure promptly and fitted within the stated time even though they had several hours to travel. Walter came to fit today he was on time and very friendly and efficient. He cleaned up after not that he made much mess I had every confidence in him. Thank you so much.

We researched shutters online for quick fitting as we were moving into a new house. Joes came and measured up promptly and then sent a more senior fitter to do a check up measure . The price was amazing for the whole house .
We had our shutters fitted on 1/12/21by Darren who did a fantastic job ! Stayed until late to get the job done despite a long drive home !

After trying all the usual high street shutter company’s and being told they can’t make what I wanted (computer says no) I found Joe’s shutters by accident and was pleasantly surprised to find they are a UK based manufacturing company, quick couple of web messages and sale guy arrived with a follow up visit from install engineer and six weeks later shutters arrived. As I will be installing these myself in the next few week I can’t say what they look like yet but from what I have seen they are well packaged and the one I have opened is looking really good.
Would recommend them so far to anybody.

At the point of writing, I am still awaiting my order. Customer Services do not return my calls. Today contacted Consumer Direct for advice. Very sad really, because this is my third order and the product, when you get it, is very good.
