Fantastic customer service and by far…
Fantastic customer service and by far the most technically advanced. Even got a free DogTrac tag with the registration. Reading other poor reviews of this company I can only assume that the reviews are the worse type of customer and expect life to be free.

CEO Poor Customer Service
CEO of MicroChip Central told me I am 'the rudest and most abrupt individual' he's 'ever corresponded with' and said he was 'glad to see the back of' me when I cancelled my subscription. I was abrupt, but his response does not seem reasonable customer service. He also refused to provide proof of refund. Avoid this site and use Petlog instead.

Something positive!
I signed up for this site believing it was legit. After reading the reviews I had massive doubts. I have just cancelled my membership via the Chatbox on the site and received a full refund!

Expensive but I didn't choose the microchip company,the breeder did. Try to speak to a human,near impossible. Very expensive. Even my vet definitely doesn't say anything good about them

Money grabbers to get Rich off pet lovers
Just cost £80 to register 8 pups now got to pay another £120 to change their ownership over to new owners wouldn't use this company ever again, all other companies don't charge to change to forever owners, these are not bothered about pets, just in it to make money out of us

Great lasting impression
As a new customer of microchip centeral i am really pleased with the service from the first call to the completion of my account.
Now registered 2 pets on my account hasstle free and both times were very accommodating.

They are not a genuine microchip…
They are not a genuine microchip database. Nearly registered with them but then found Identibase which is where my other pet is registered. They told me microchip central do absolutely nothing with your details. The chip number was also not recognised - maybe came from abroad… I had no details of this pups original owner as I got her 3rd hand, she supposedly came from a farm in Hawick.

Additional cost to rescue charities to…
Additional cost to rescue charities to transfer chips to new owners. Apparently, they provide the 'premium' service to new owners which is what the fee is for and the minimum plan you can take, but a lot of the features included in the 'premium' plan are free with other chip companies for the lifetime of the animal. With Microchip central, its only included for 12 months so Im really not sure why this is such a good service. We deal with 7 other microchip companies and they are all more than happy to arrange the transfer free of charge to new owners. Im just pleased we don't get many dogs through our doors that are registered with this company.

Impossible to register chips on this database
I tried to register 20 Pet ID microchips (who have now gone over to this database) and have found it completely impossible.Even my IT advisor could not do it.Petlog -no problem ! Buy chips which register with them

DO NOT USE!
I brought a "dog trac" dog tag from Microchip Central. The tag seemed like a great idea, if my dog went missing and someone found my dog, all they would have to do is scan the tag and the dog tag app would connect us.
However, I should have checked the reviews of the dog tag app before purchase because it has terrible reviews... and rightly so! The app does not work so the tags are useless. I have tried to contact Microchip Central (who make the dog trac tags) but they have been ignoring my letters and emails. They refuse to refund me and have treated me disgustingly. PetLog are much better, if anything, use Petlog rather than Microchip Central.
AVOID MICROCHIP CENTRAL AT ALL COSTS!!!
