À propos de Polygence
Écrit par l'entreprise
Polygence is a leading global online research and mentorship program for high school and middle school students, founded by researchers from MIT and Princeton. Through personalized, one-on-one mentorship with expert researchers and professionals, students explore their interests, develop original ideas, and create mentored research projects that show what sets them apart.
Students can pursue projects across STEM, social sciences, humanities, business, technology, and the arts. Projects may become a research paper, prototype, app, podcast, policy proposal, literature review, or other original work.
Create work that is distinctly yours
At Polygence, students are encouraged to develop a research topic and project that reflects their own interests, questions, and goals. Their mentor provides guidance along the way while giving them the space to shape the direction of the work and make it genuinely their own.
The goal is to help students build an intellectual portfolio that demonstrates their curiosity, initiative, skills, and ideas.
Work one-on-one with expert mentors
Students are matched with mentors based on their interests and project goals. Mentors include PhD researchers, academics, and industry professionals who provide personalized guidance throughout the research process.
Prepare for college and beyond
Mentored research helps students build skills in critical thinking, research, writing, problem-solving, project management, and communication while creating work they can draw on in college applications and future academic opportunities.
Polygence alumni report 5.9x greater admissions chances at Top 25 universities, and the Class of 2026 reported nearly $19 million in college scholarships.
84% of Polygence students also report feeling more confident and optimistic about their future after working with their mentor.
Mentor Match Guarantee
Every Polygence program includes our Mentor Match Guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with your mentor’s knowledge or expertise after your first session, we’ll rematch you with a new mentor or provide a full refund.

Worth Every Penny!
Arya learnt a lot working on the project. He was happy to see the practical application of the math he studied in school and more. I could see it challenged him quite a bit as he was engrossed in thought even when he was not actively working on it. He sure enjoyed it thoroughly and is looking forward to working on another one :)

A truly learning experience
I feel my mentor match was key to the success of my research project. I am grateful for the mentorship offered throughout the project. I was encouraged and motivated all the way through to work hard and complete the project on time. My project lasted for 8 months but it was an immersive experience. I developed various new skills. The communication framework is well established ensuring easy and timely communications. I completed my project successfully resulting in a research paper. Very happy with the overall experience. Highly recommended.

Flexible Time Management
The research opportunity provided by polygence through it's mentors to High school students is excellent. Polygence was very flexible in extending the timelines to me and that provided me to complete my research along with my high school academic course pressure. Thank you.
