So far, they seem legit. It's actually me that has to find the time to carry on with the studying. I sent off my TMS s and they all came back positive. Only gripe is trying to log into their study webpage. It seems like there is lots of RIC s and it keeps jumping into the wrong page.

Contacted by a guy called Andrew from Course Advisor to be signed up with Routes Into Construction 😅. Should have realised before the 3rd hurdle.
Andrew had me like a rabbit in head lights 🤩 you can get your Part P first fixer qualification within months, start doing small jobs to build your port folio and the course can then fund its self. Wow upon researching the extra cost implications of being able to get any works signed off, plus after over 2 years I've still not even seen a rest centre!
Due to personal health implications, and generally feeling like I've been taken for a ride! I've sent a letter explaining my condition along with the confidence crash this process has caused. For £140 a month I have 4 books with multipul errors. 14 TMA's passed over 85% on all. Then to be set a pre centre test thats impossible to pass! Even local college tutors couldn't decode the questions! Upon asking for feed back on 3 failed attempts was told by a tutor message, they do not have any access as is run by a 3rd part 🤣 which has not been named!.
I recieved a generic print out letter with a printed signature and no name, not mentioned a single part of my letter! Saying I have to contact them to pay the 3 month cooling period!. I told them I have no money as I have had to go for private care. Getting 4-5 called a day text messages and emails!
There is no humanity or thought for peoples mental health or the trauma they cause! AVOID at all costs. If you want to splash cash donate it to the donkey sanctuary, will at least get self satisfaction for a good deed!

Like every other review, scam company, has little if no time to put you through physical courses, tutors give "robotic - computer says no" answers.
Have to jump through hoops and hoops to cancel and it is incredibly difficult to cancel the course - while disputing the money keeps going up.

I’m a more mature student trying to learn and make a career in the electrical industry.

This review would have been a one star if it wasn’t for the turnaround I got after. So, I base this on four stars purely on one man and all the tutors working in the background.

I would like to put forward a different perspective to add to the already negative reviews so far. From the very beginning of my course I was presented with a young lady as part of the customer services team who gave me a rather bad impression that made me feel very uncomfortable and treated me with little respect. She had the great ability to talk over you rather than to listen more to your concerns or have greater empathy toward you. It was lacking very much. I decided along with other problems this lady created to make contact with my course introducer. The person who interviewed me to assess my suitability for the course in the first place. He was fantastic and helped me through my issues where by I was eventually contacted my Rob of RIC, a more senior level, who rang me. Rob was brilliant from this point onwards. He listened, he accepted there were concerns and they all got sorted and resolved. Notes have been made on the system. So to where I am presently, all is going very well with the course, I have been on a few training weeks, all course module books are delivered timely with regards to your progression with your online practicals. Rob is a great guy and wish that they were all like him, attentive. So thank you RIC so far, that is.

DON'T PAY THEM. THEY'RE CONTRACT IS VOID.

Absolutely horrible company they don't support you what so ever apart from ringing you up about payments , upon signing up,their course adviser (sales woman) I was told that their one of the best with over 20 years of experience in the field but if you check on gov UK their company was only registered since 2021, also was told there are very limited spaces and I'm one of the lucky ones who got the spot so I wasn't even given a chance to think whether I want to take part, pressured into the sale that's all they care about is getting their commission, the study book has a lot of verbal mistakes and tutors don't help, at the moment I'm trying to find a solicitor who can help me cancel the contract if anyone else is in the same situation and wants to get their hard earned money back due to a scam please email me on Facebook "Nick Pavliukevic" as I see there are lots of people struggling to cancel their subscription that has no benefit to their life, I've asked them for a Good Will Gesture to cancel my contract after paying them over 1000£ for nothing but even then they refused and want me to pay the full 12 months for literally nothing, because of this I will be taking them to court and claiming my money back as their extremely rude and don't want to cooperate and understand your circumstances.

What? Absolutely not true you have declined to cancel a course that Is full of errors due to Leaving a negative review because of damaging your reputation, if you were a legit company 1 negative review wouldn't even affect you but every single person is getting scammed for their hard earned money. I recently had a disappointing experience with Route into Construction. It became clear to me that their main focus is on making money rather than providing any training.
Moreover, there female customer personnel is so rude and lack understanding. They have been scamming people and am taking my feet to teach them unforgettable lesson.They are bad reputation to Asian generation.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a construction program that prioritizes quality education and sincerely cares about your success, I would strongly advise you to steer clear of Route into Construction.Save your time and money for an institution that truly provides a well-rounded and comprehensive learning experience.

Was lied to on signing up. You do get a voucher for hotel costs but can be claimed back at the end of the first few months which is definitely not what the rep told me sat in my front room when I expressed that was my only concern! I was told it would be £30 voucher per night to help with hotel costs. When I tried to ring up about it the call gets passed about then basically got called a liar by the woman on the phone. Nobody seems to have any customer service experience and not even a phonecall after they get you signed up just clearly interested in the funding they get/ taking people's money not actually helping people progress in life. Definitely avoid.

I've enjoyed and had a good experience with the course. As this is an open course, I feel like the course material encouraged me to research other sources, as admittedly I found gaps in the information but I thought them to be intentional as I always found the answers under familiar sources and personally enjoyed investigating my questions and felt it to be a good style of self teaching as long periods of reading the book would grow ineffective. I also felt supported by the tutor team every step of the way. Although, reading the other reviews, I agree that the course fees are intense and during my year on the course and the ups and downs of life it has been my most stressful bill as it will do nothing except roll over to the next month if unpaid, very much a snowball effect and the material is made inaccessible if you miss a payment. There should be an option to reduce payments, pause payments etc.

This company is reap off. My son paid over £3000 for a course that he has never done. I called and asked to cancel it when he paid 16 months and was told I cannot cancel the subscription. I checked the contract and in the contract it stated that as long as you have paid 12 months you can cancel. I cancel my direct debit and I called and one of their customer service advisors told me that I have paid the required amount and they will take my name off their records. A few days later they call back and said I still need to pay three months more because you have to give three months notice. They sent a letter saying I am owing them £420 and i have just received another letter saying I am owing them £560. Please stay clear of this company they are liars and very misleading

For goodness sake avoid route to construction they are very manipulative set of people. You can't cancel your subscription unless you pay over £ 2000, even when you told you have no time for class due to slim schedules. They are rippers and unresponsive organisation with insatiable penchant to reap from where they did not sow. Appropriate authorities should look into their conducts .They are extortioner. I have written them, called, sent messages explaining my situation yet they still bring bills of the service I have never used. Please avoid them like a plaque.

Thanks for your email asking me to refer to a email referring to extra support. What happened to contacting me regarding this oh yes I’ll refer to the email sent from yourselves stating the person and department i wish to speak with doesn’t contact people and that’s call extra support. You clearly need to get updated with current standards and stop ripping personal off.

This company is a scam and should not be trading they prey on vulnerable people you are mis sold the product as a 12 months contract but still you can’t cancel there staff are rude and the company bombards you with text messages and debt letters even if you have paid agreed amount have reported to trading standards itv rouge traders there needs to be someone looking into them and /4/7 training who passed us on to them do not go with this company needs solicitors to take on as a mid sold product have talked to a few

I am now instructing a solicitor, My husband signed a 12 month contract but he ran into difficulties and has not been able to take one the lessons but has honoured the contract and paid £2,180 we were told after 12 months he could get out of the contract they now want another £540 to cancel a course he has never taken £3,000 to get out of a contract, this is a total scam and I am taking this the the news papers , people are in serious trouble due to the cost of living, not only is it effecting their pockets its also effecting their health, this company is beyond rude and unhelpful, its not like they have not received payment £2,180 so far for nothing !!!!!!! Even banks and credit card companies try to help, Please please take head from the reviews , scam company

Please do some serious research before you sign up with this company. While they do provide a route to get you the qualifications, by acting as a middle man between an actual test centre that has certification with City and Guilds, the learning documents that you receive are riddled with errors, they are excessively rude to you on the phone and will pass your details to debt collectors if you choose to stop studying. There are many people out there who have been forced to pay thousands of pounds and they have not received any worthwhile level of education. They mislead you into thinking its a great option for studying while you continue to work and then if you do not cancel within 30 days will try to tie you into a 12 month minimum contract. The learning information you receive are counterfeit and have technical drawings literally done on paint. Please do not be fooled by this company, as you will regret it.
