Zero stars
I rented my lovely 3 bedroomed house with garden and off road parking to a tenant for 4 years. I had to evict the tenant due to the damage they caused to the property. The repairs so far has cost me over £10,000.I have provided photos and videos pre and post tenancy and all the relevant paperwork relating to the tenancy to Safe Deposit Scotland. Safe Deposit Scotland have advised me that the photos, videos and pre tenancy checklist are not evidence of the damage so the tenant who destroyed my house is getting their deposit back. I am devasted. I will not let my house again so this decision is only to the detriment of honest people who want to rent a home.
So disappointed in this wholly unfair decision.
Landlords, think twice before using this organisation.

Elle was great- very responsive…
Elle was great- very responsive whenever I’d have a chance to email first thing in the morning before leaving for work. She sorted an error in the system that was causing an issue and by the next day my security deposit had been returned to my bank account!
