I had a terrible experience with this business. They tried to sell me a dodgy car and only refunded me after I had to go through the small claims court process.
Avoid this place—it’s not worth the time, money, or stress.
Looking back, there were red flags from the very start. On the day I purchased the car, staff were rushing me and pressuring me to hurry up, saying they needed to go and break their fast—even though it was only around 3pm, which didn’t make sense.
The whole situation felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, and I regret not walking away at that point. Instead, I went ahead with the purchase and ended up dealing with ongoing issues, including being misled and having to fight just to get my money back.
For an entire month, I was repeatedly lied to by staff. Every day I called about my refund, I was given false information or excuses. At one point, I was even told—right before Eid—that they couldn’t refund me because they “had no money,” which is completely unacceptable.
The whole situation caused me a huge amount of stress. To make matters worse, I paid by bank transfer, and my bank couldn’t assist, so I strongly recommend always using card payments for protection.
After my experience, I’m not surprised to see similar complaints in other reviews. I genuinely don’t understand how this business maintains positive ratings.
This business needs to be investigated further!

THIS COMPANY SELL DAMAGED VEHICLES AND DOES NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY, "DO NOT BUY"
Firstly, if I could have given no stars, I would have, so do not be flattered buy one star, as I had no choice.
I bought a Mercedes CLA from this Cowbot outfit, I made the mistaske of not going to see and test the car, It was almost £12000, I completed the transaction with a credit agreement with a deposit of £1148 plust a delivery charge of £140 Total from me was £1288.
The car arrived on the back of a trailer, it was filthy, full of scratches and dents, which were not visible from the images on their website, someone had been using it to run around in, there was a womans passport photo in there and varuious bits of paperwork, a high vis and builders gloves in the boot, the car had not been cleaned at all, both keys had masking tape holding ther battery's in, with no covers on either key.
I rang them the next day, and the credit company to get the car pickedf up and returned to them, with lots of lies and excuses, they failed to pick the vehicle up for approxcimately 1 month, so I had a car that was still on my drive, aftert this outfit said they would pickmit up, and did not, the credit company also kept ringing and e-mailing them, they asked for my bank account details 3 times, and never returned my money, they have had the car back for for 2 weeks, and still they owe me the money,they never stopped advertising it for sale, and still are, so if they sell this car and do not return the finance company back, and my deposit, that is a criminal offence, of theft and fraud, as technically and Legally, they do not own it, I will be taking Legasl action against them, and paying them a visit with some very Large gentlemen as a previous rugby player, they picked on the wrong fella, we do not Like thieves, this is my hard earand money and will be paid back, the Finance company have stopped calling me with any updates, they were supposed to protect my deposit and said so themselves, so we are not done with them yet, the FCA will be told of their activities, the AA guide that they are reccommende by, will be informed of this fraudulent action, and the conditionof the car, plus the car guide they subscribed to, saying they will adhere to their fair dealing polcies.
I am going to set about destroying this outfits reputation, if they have one, I will dig into their finances and Legitimacy of them, and any trading illegalities, or irregularities, they made a big mistake if they think thast this is the end of the matter, they have stolen a lot of money from me, and it will be returned, one way or another.
"A MESSAGE FOR ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING A CAR, SEEN OR UNSEEN FROM THIS LOT, THINK MORE THASN TWICE BEFORE HANDING OVER YOUR CASH TO THEM, YOU WILL BE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE, BE WARNED!"

Stephen, we believe it is important to clarify the full facts for anyone reading this review.
Firstly, your statement that funds were not returned is incorrect. Your refund has already been completed, and the matter was resolved. This review does not reflect the final outcome of the situation.
We understand that the process may have felt lengthy, however when a vehicle is purchased through a finance agreement, the refund process is not instant and does not sit solely with us. It involves coordination between multiple parties including the dealership, the finance company, and final settlement figures from the lender. These steps must be completed correctly before any funds are released.
In most cases, refunds are processed within a standard timeframe, typically around 14 days, depending on how quickly all parties complete their part of the process. This is a structured procedure followed across the motor trade and is not unique to us.
We would also like to make it clear that we never hold customers’ money intentionally. There is no benefit to us in delaying refunds. Our aim is always to complete transactions correctly and ensure customers receive their funds through the proper channels.
It is disappointing to see such strong statements remain publicly after the matter has already been resolved. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for reviews to remain even after customers have received their refunds and final outcome.
We always aim to provide a fair service and, where issues arise, to bring them to a conclusion. In this case, the refund was completed, and the matter was closed.

They agreed in principle to buy my car from me for £9009. Then said that they couldn't come pick up the car for over a month which instantly raised some alarm bells but I continued nontheless.
When the day of collection finally come around, their driver completed a full inspection of my car (taking around 30-40 minutes) taking multiple pictures and even going on a short test drive.
After this was done, he relayed back to the dealership that my vehicle was in great condition, has been very well looked after and is a "Grade 1" car.
With that being said, one would think everything was ok? Oh but how was I wrong. The dealer then rang me and claimed the car would need a service (depsite recently having one) and that because there was a couple of small stonechips on the front grill they thought that £8400 was an acceptable offer.
At which point I outright refused, despite the car recently having a service the dealer still thought that a £600 deduction was necessary so I told them to get lost and said that I would not sell the car at that price.
I thought that would be that and I would just sell the car myself privately on autotrader, but to my surprise when I entered the details of my car onto auto trader, I saw that the car traders had already taken the liberty of advertising my vehicle on multiple platforms such as auto trader, car gurus and even their own website for £10700! The cheek!
To make matters worse, all of the adverts use my original pictures which I reserve the copyright for and as well as this, the advert diplays my private number plate which means it is now liable to being cloned.
Just to top things off, I anonymously phoned the dealership from the advert on their website to see how they would handle an enquiry on a car they don't own or have a right to sell. To my shock they offered me to reserve it with a deposit and an appointment to come and see it over the weekend!
My advice to anyone looking at buying or selling a car would be to stay away from this dealership at all costs. After reading some more of their reviews, it doesn't look like I am the only one who has had a terrible experience with this company.

When vehicles are purchased through Motorway or similar auction platforms, bids are placed based on the information provided at the listing stage. Once a vehicle is inspected in person, our inspector reports back to the office with findings regarding condition, preparation requirements, and any items that may need attention before the car can be offered for retail sale. Even well-maintained vehicles can require preparation work such as servicing checks, cosmetic correction, warranty provision, transport costs, advertising fees, and other operational expenses before being offered to buyers.
If differences between the description and the physical inspection are noted, the valuation may be reviewed accordingly. Sellers are never obligated to proceed with a revised valuation and are completely free to decline the offer, which is what happened in this case.
With regard to the advertising point you raised, vehicles that pass through auction systems are sometimes entered into stock management pipelines as potential incoming vehicles. This is a common practice across the motor trade and does not mean a transaction has been completed or that a vehicle is being misrepresented.
Our intention is always to source the best possible vehicles for our customers, which is why our inspection process is detailed and sometimes leads to revised valuations. We would rather reassess a vehicle than compromise on the quality and safety standards we aim to provide to buyers.
