Currently trying to clean up Zeniths mess…

I’ve just taken out my insurance and they said I was involved in a crash a few years ago which I wasn’t. This means my insurance has gone from £30 / month to £99 / month. I’ve spoke to the insurer involved and CUE who confirmed it was an admin error.

I’ve phoned up and the customer service rep didn’t seem to understand the issue. I’ve emailed evidence to Zenith but they seem to have just ignored it. They’ve given me 1 week to sort the issue out which is frustrating because it’s Zeniths error.
It’s a classic case of - if everything goes well that’s great but when things go wrong you get to see how helpful the company are. I wish I just went with a more well known company. Zenith said if I cancel my contract they’ll fine me £45.. stuck between a rock and a hard place

Too early to comment

Too early to comment, but it was easy enough to pay and get insurance.
Let's hope it will be as easy to 'use' and resolve any issues in the unfortunate event of needing a claim.

Charges to apply a number plate

Haven't been with you long enough to really give a proper review but I went to put my personalised plate on to my vehicle to be told it would cost me £25! Every other company I have used this has been a free service so straight away thats made me unhappy.

Beware of this company

Beware of this company, my 87 year old mum had a policy with them who passed away in March, 3 months on Mum has still not been paid out, their excuse being “we need 24 working days to review it” my mum had had to borrow the money for Dads funeral, the way she had been treated is shocking, as if it want bad enough losing her husband of 64 years

Competitive quote and relatively painless application although the constant reminders of potentially incorrect information and the impact on insurance provision made me feel uncomfortable.

Rang up to ask for car renewal price

Rang up to ask for car renewal price, the chap was based in South Africa and couldn't understand I wanted renewal price just repeated what I currently pay and it was 3rd party I asked speak.someone else got passed over and they did the same thing they put me on hold then phone went dead. They really need to change their call centre staff god forbid you wanted to claim for an accident! Anyway I found someone where else got 10 quid more and I renewed they lost my business.

Competitive

Used Compare site and found Zenith covered my requirements at a competitive rate. Easy to set up and access. Not yet effective, therefore, cannot comment on service, should I need to make a claim.
