First class service, great product
We received first class service from Ian and Kayleigh. We were invited to take all the time we needed to find our fabric, each of us were assisted to find the chair size and motor that suited our needs. We were very impressed with the product and the staff, this really was a gold star service and we would recommend HSL to everyone looking for a new suite. A very positive shopping experience which I thoroughly enjoyed

We had a very warm welcome when we went…
We had a very warm welcome when we went into our local Hsl store. We were given plenty of time to look around and given lots of information regarding the chairs we purchased. We were allowed plenty of time to sit in the chairs to make sure they were right for us. The sales person Eden was lovely, she brought us coffee and biscuits whilst chatting about the chairs.

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service! From the first visit to look around to the final visit to place an order the staff in the Thurrock branch have been patient, friendly, helpful and considerate. When you walk in the store to look around a member of staff will approach to ask if you need assistance and then leave you to wander around, no pressure or ghosting your every move. After eventually deciding on my chairs I've walked away feeling happy and confident of my choice.

Stressless chairs from a stress free firm!
Bought 2 Stressless chairs from HSL. Very good experience - delivered a little ahead of schedule. Excellent quality furniture, very attentive and knowledgeable staff in Prestwich showroom. The delivery team, Alex and Adi were very friendly, very careful and thoughtful and showed us how to work the recline mechanism before they left. Second pair of Stressless chairs we have purchased - outstanding comfort and quality.

Recliner for dads decline…
Was looking for a recliner to make dads last few months comfortable.
We were welcomed as soon as we went in but with not pressure or insistence ( I hate it when salespeople continuosly pester you, these guys didnt ).
The chap who dealt with us ( may have been Jack ?) was really knowledgable and extremely helpful.
The chair was delivered in 4 days.
Absolutely excellent service all round, I thouroughly recommend these guys, from start to finish exemplary.

The greeting
The greeting, and allowing us to just look around the items we were looking for. Then the assistance provided by the client consultant Chandni, was very useful as it covered all the various options available, without any pressure.
This allowed us to decide the style of chair, look at the various coverings etc without thinking about what's included in the price.

Poor aftersales
No problem with the store and delivery but with electrical aftercare.
After 2 weeks the motor on the recliner packed up with settee partially horizontal. Had to wait a week for engineer appointment which was then cancelled on the day. Next available appointment 3 weeks later. Eventually got appointment for following week which is 2 weeks after the motor failed and 4 weeks after sofa delivered! This is a preposterous situation.

A good experience
The sales person Bev was friendly helpful but not pushy. We were able to speak to Bev each time we went into the store at Brierley Hill.
We were unable to choose the delivery day as we had to fit in with when the transport was coming our way, which was a bit difficult. The delivery men were also helpful. One noticed a loose thread and an upholsterer can within 2 days and sorted the problem.
