Received a batch of Raj Green paving slabs via their clearance range. I had to report some quality issues with the consignment which required rectification. Initial good communication
Initial good communication. Paid for delivery. They are struggling to get their preferred delivery company to do a kerbside delivery for us. Have explored other options. Asked up for an additional £500 for a kerbside delivery to our address or delivery to a lay by and for us to transport 7 tonne of paving to our address. Opted for latter because of tight budget. No update from company re dispatch. Had random hauliers calling me for more info... They have had over £6000 of our money for a week and still don't know if or when we will receive delivery. We spoke to them last week saying we needed the delivery for today but I am not even sure if it has been dispatched.

As you may know, our company provides a standard kerbside delivery service at no additional cost, utilising a large curtain-side lorry (18 tonnes and above) equipped with a manual pump truck and tail-lift. This information is clearly outlined on our website.
When placing your order, we ask that you inform us of any potential access issues, such as narrow country lanes. Unfortunately, when you completed your order, you did not mention that you live on a single-track lane, which would make curbside delivery unsuitable. Our vehicles would not be able to safely access your property without the risk of damage or the inability to stop and offload your order without blocking the lane.
At that point, we could have reverted to our usual terms and conditions and stated that we could not fulfil your order due to access issues. Perhaps we should have done so. However, our team went above and beyond to explore alternative delivery methods, especially since you had previously had large construction vehicles on site. It was the case that a Pallet delivery service was not possible and 2 companies confirmed this, but this didn't mean we couldn't find an alternative and that exactly what we did.
We spent the entire last week contacting local companies to find a Hiab delivery option and to secure the best quote for you. You also attempted to arrange delivery with another pallet delivery company, which was unable to deliver directly to your home but could drop off at a nearby layby, charging you £525 for that service.
Our team provided exceptional customer service, going the extra mile when many larger companies would have simply cancelled your order and issued a full refund. As Millie and Nick informed you on Friday, your order has been dispatched and is now with your local depot. The Hiab delivery company is scheduled to collect it, and the delivery date has been arranged.
We charged you a total of £495.00 for this service, which actually cost our company £594.00. Additionally, we offered you a discount on your paving to our trade rates due to the size of your order.
It is disappointing that the effort our team invested, including countless hours of work and communication with you, has not been acknowledged or appreciated. We believe that such dedication deserves a 5-star review. We hope that anyone reading this will recognise our team's commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We always strive to assist our customers whenever possible, offering alternative options rather than simply saying we cannot deliver.

Delivery was prompt. There were a couple of extra pieces in the kit in case of breakage.

Good service and value for money
We recently purchased some porcelain tiles for an our patio upgrade. The whole experience was simply and stress free. The product was of excellent quality and a very competitively priced. The customer service was fantastic even when we had to return and exchange some of the tiles as we changed our designs mid build. There was no quibbling and all done very simply.
