Very friendly and helpful staff, but a key warning to customers that I think they need to correct - if you are leasing an apartment, they ask for all your card details up front to make a holding deposit before you can make an offer - I think this is very unprofessional and also unsafe. All other real estate agents I've been in contact with in the past when renting a flat give you their account so you can directly transfer money to their account, the usual way. Posting this so people are aware and don't accidentally disclose their card details.

I was very impressed with Mr Butt and his team at Frank Harris, Marchmont Street. In the process of selling my small flat they could not have done better. George advised me on which offer I should accept and then he helped in finding a very good solicitor.
There were a few 'hiccups' in the process of selling, which the solicitors had to deal with, but he was very patient and finally the sale was completed.
I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone Frank Harris in Marchmont Street, WC1.

I must say, I have given my business to this Estate Agency for the last 13yrs and they have never seemed to amaze me. I have never had a void period in finding professionals to rent my one-bedroom property in SE1. Their agent is so efficient and effective in finding reputable tenants an securing long term contracts quickly. I enjoyed the follow-up communications and customer service with the team. Ryan the Letting Agent Manager knows how to make you feel special as a Landlord with a complimentary wine case on completion. Keep up the excellent work guys and it's great doing business with you.

They provide partial information, hide essentials (energy ratings/service charges, etc), cannot get a straight answer from them and they'll spam you mercilessly with unrelated emails!
Of which their response below is a typical example: ask to be unsubscribed, even though you were never asked to be subscribed, and you'll get requesters to give them a call!!
They must be thinking that only fools would deal with them.

Buying a Barbican flat:
Buying a Barbican studio flat from Frank Harris & Co has been a very positive experience thanks to Lorenzo Ronconi. He has extensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for all things Barbican and is very professional, helpful and efficient.

I dealt with Lorenzo Ronconi and a couple of other members of the Clerkenwell Frank Harris & Co team in my search for a flat - it was a very positive experience, I found them extremely helpful, efficient and responsive. I would thoroughly recommend!

Please do not take any house via Frank Harris. We recently moved into a property in Barbican; not only it was not deep cleaned but also electrical were not checked and we living under fire hazard and there is major plumbing leakage in kitchen and in the bathroom. In addition, smaller things do not work like broken toilet seat, smashed glasses broken curtain rods and list goes on!! I have been trying to connect with them especially regarding life threatening issues but agency is showing no urgency to act! Even though, they took full deposit and a very high rent.

I was left 10 days WITHOUT hot water from the first day I moved in, and they said it was fixed in a "professional and timely manner"; yes they don't seem to ensure at all that you have hot water on the very first day you check in. Of all the nerve! One more thing to alert, I found PESTS on the mattress. Horrible!

The whole Frank Harris Team were wonderful. It was a big move for me and my family. Tina, Lorenzo and Jamie did a great job guiding me through the process, offering both sensible and sensitive advice and getting me to the finishing line. There were several hurdles along the way and few false starts. Nevertheless, both sale and purchase of one Barbican property to another were handled with consistent and unfailing professionalism and expertise. Their combined knowledge of the Barbican is without rival.

We have just bought a property in the Barbican through Frank Harris, working with Jamie Charlton, who has been superb throughout. It's been a long old process since we first started looking, we ended up in a chain, part of that chain was very tricky and he was calm and professional throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. A good firm, and a good estate agent.
