When the advisor knew he could not help me he was dismissive, I was no longer the centre of attention but a headache. I have since emailed the advisor on multiple occasions asking for advice on situation changes but I have not heard back. When the advisor knew he could not make money out of me he moved on without giving me a fair chance. I will find another company willing to help me.

Amazing service from start to finish. Got decision in principle in less than 3 hours and mortgage offer in less than a month.
Luke Naylor was very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and found me better mortgage rate than initially proposed.
Chloe Wagstaff was also very good at what she does- helped me gather all required documentation so there was no delays when it came to getting mortgage offer.

After being let down by 2 different mortgage advisors from other companies, and as FTB's we started to lose hope in our house buying process. We then searched online and found OMA and Ben was assigned to us as our mortgage advisor and our story changed.

Ben trully understood our case and treated us with love and patience and explained each and every step clearly.Jenna was also part of the team and she was fantastic from start to finish. My advisor understood the issues perfectly and came back with the answer to the question. He was then also happy to answer the few twiddly questions that followed. And all in plain english!

We used this company to get us two mortgages. One for a buy to let and one for a purchase.
At first point I just used them for advise on this completely free and later took them up on finding these mortgages.
I could not recommend Jean Pierre enough for his guidance and support.
And his case worker April for keeping us up to date at all times.

Honest review of my experience buying a house for the first time.
Right from the first conversation, David was the most helpful advisor ever. He answered all my daft or pertinent questions quickly and professionally.
You could not wish for a better advisor than David.
He was available at any time, and on any day. He even called in his own time to check in with me, to make sure I was happy with the way things were progressing.
Absolutely amazing treatment from David (and also Jenna).
If I get the chance to recommend a mortgage advisor, I will recommend David and Jenna in a heartbeat.

After significant effort and a lot of disappointment, we found David Farrell at the Online Mortgage Advisor.
Our usual advisors said YES they can sort this, but they couldn't.
Other advisors said YES they can sort this, but they couldn't.
We were looking to pull in a small mortgage to cover a purchase property. But we were surprised to hear that there were issues with our ages, incomes and self employment from (3) mortgage advisors.
We had almost given up, but then found the Online Mortgage Advisor, and they were terrific.
Our advisor, David Farrell got straight to work, created a range of opportunities for us, and guided us through to the right solution for us.
David Farrell is a very knowledgeable, realistic and a great communicator.
If you need Equity Release, a Lifetime Mortgage or a Mortgage in Retirement David Farrell is your man.

We didn't have a great experience with OMA, the service was inefficient with poor communication.

All phone communication with OMA staff was very difficult as the call service OMA use often broke up, we would get long patches of not being able to hear, and people's voices were often muffled.

Our mortgage broker, Sat Singh, was brilliant. We had complex income due to multiple sources and he managed our case well. He was on hand when we needed him and was courteous and professional.

However, when he passed us on to the OMA team to sort the paperwork for our mortgage and discuss life insurance, communication was poor. Calls that were booked in weren't made, communications weren't read properly resulting in confusion, time wasted, and errors. We were told we would be kept regularly updated, but weren't.

When we raised these concerns with the people involved, they both passed the blame to the mortgage broker and took no accountability for the errors that were very much theirs. As such, I raised my concerns with OMA themselves using their complaints procedure. I received no reply whatsoever.

When our mortgage offer was made, we weren't informed and only found out when the paperwork from the lender came through the post nearly a week after it had been approved. The number on the address was incorrect, which had been missed by OMA, meaning the lender had valued the wrong house and we had to wait for another valuation to be done.

Service was sloppy and, other than the services provided by Sat Singh, I would not recommend the company. 3* for OMA, 5* for Sat Singh

They refused to work with me after one lender’s decline without providing any explanation. I received zero advice from them in that situation—just a blatant, unmotivated refusal, which even led me to suspect hidden reasons. This was a total failure of their main function: to ADVISE.

Their complaint procedure failed to acknowledge these obvious and evident failures on their part, instead offering a laughable £100 compensation for three months of lost time and effort.

The lender later confirmed that my advisor should have shared the reasons for the decline with me, but this never happened: “The previous decline decision should have already been communicated to you, explaining the reasons why it was declined.”

My case was complicated as I live abroad etc. and multiple other factors -Richard Davidson was superb and could not have been more helpful. He came up with many options and nothing was too much trouble He knows his stuff and even when my requirements changed he was able to adjust accordingly -he way exceeded my expectations. Kudos to him!

In a nutshell, explained everything clear and simple, provided options and got it sorted quick and painless. All that and a wonderful, friendly personality made it all very easy. Thanks Donna
