simple to follow opening process, my bank was the only problem. when i needed help with a opening statement the staff were very helpful .

I was attracted to Oxbury bank because of the excellent rates of interest for savings. The process of opening an account was straightforward and the various steps were laid out in clear language, easy to understand. I was at first a bit concerned at having to download an App on my phone even though it's for added security, as I normally avoid having anything to do with money or banking on my phone. I appreciate that many people would find that strange! It was simple to transfer money into the new savings account, and emails confirmed straight away that the money had been received. That's reassuring when dealing with a bank you've not dealt with before.

Was able to open a new savings account with Oxbury Bank with a minimum of fuss and no delays. Was up and running in no time. Much easier & quicker than some of their competitors.

Bought a new phone hand set, CANNOT access the app or access my account via a laptop.
No contact number to actually speak to someone, just an email telling me it will take 5 days to respond....

Good interest rates, website and app works really well.
Kept informed regarding maturity of savings. Keep doing what you're doing.

I've been a customer for several years with a number of accounts. I saw a new "summer" product listed on a comparison site at a good rate and decided to open one. Then found out it is not avaiable to existing customers! I really thought all that penalising your loyal customers caper was long gone - but seemingly not for Oxbury. I tried to have a live chat with a human (bot 'George' gave up) but I was left hanging, so I gave up on that too. All in all rather disappointing and the funds will be going elsewhere.

Quick and easy to access required info to set up a savings account.

My wife has an Oxbury account and I was going to open one as the interest rate is good, however you need to plan ahead for withdrawals. While the banking systems of other banks seems to have moved on, Oxbury are stuck in the dark ages. With most banks now using faster payments your withdrawal is in your nominated account within a maximum of a couple of hours. The system is different with Oxbury, if your withdrawal is made before 11am it will be in your bank account by the end of the day, if after 11am it will be the following day. They still state this is a faster payment and my wife asked why it takes so long and didn't get a straight answer, Oxbury just reiterated the timescales.
UPDATE
So once again all Oxbury do is reiterate the deadlines which I already stated but not explain WHY they have these longer than normal faster payments!

Oxbury Bank are easy to deal with. Their website is easy to understand and use. Good interest rates. Telephone communication is seamless.

So far so good. A quick set up in the app and a reassuring text message to confirm your deposit. Money showing in account instantly Happy days.

Just not instant

Efficient and timely responses to transactions on-line from account creation to instant confirmation of funds receipt. No experience yet of withdrawal process. Well presented website; straightforward to navigate. The process of downloading the [essential] mobile app was a tad involved; but manageable. The bank's ethos of supporting the agricultural community is commendable.
