Yorkshire Water engineer experience
I had an issue with an extremely high increment on my monthly direct debit, upon challenging it they sent out an engineer to check if there were issues in and around my property. I had a visit today Thursday 17th September by Ian Cadwallander from Yorkshire Water who checked everything from leaks both internal and external and also advised me on problems if they arise what actions I should take. I have to say I was dreading the appointment incase there was something that was majorly wrong, but there wasnt'. Ian was such a genuine and reassuring person who was informative and extremely polite. Its a pity there weren't a few more people like him who care about people and don't just fob you off. I now know where my stop Tap is and that I have had a new meter fitted, which I wasnt aware of. Ian is such an asset to Yorkshire Water and I felt I needed to share that.

It took Yorshire Water a year to fix a seriosu leak.
It took Yorshire Water a year to fix a leak that was not my water and was seeping under my house. I've had to replace plaster work and skirting boards. I only hope my foundations are not compromised.

House move enquiry.
I telephoned Yorkshire Water because i was unable to complete the registration as a new customer due to a house move online (something not working at their end). Ellie that answered my call firstly apologised for the inconvenience and then proceeded to deal with everything professionally and super efficiently. I wish other companies had the same level of service to make a house move less stressful. Highly recommended.

Yorkshire water company themselves an absolutely disgusting, disgraceful firm who ripe us all off and put raw sewage into our rives and seas.Haven’t done any upgrades of all systems upgrades since went private a long time ago. Millions of gallons lose though leaks, no opening of new reservoirs. Pay themselves a fortune. The CEO fails all the time a gets a six figure salary and bonus. Just like every water company. The CEO and directors should be charged with gross negligence and go to prison
