i bought a Gala marquee some 12 years ago.it goes up every year and is strong and reliable.wear and tear over the years has meant that I have had to replaces parts of it and these have always been easy to find and order.the designn is simple and robust so putting up the gala only takes two people a few hours.a very good investment

An impressive gazebo that will be very easy to put up next time, having learned from our first attempt. We used it for a two day event, erecting it in windy conditions two days before and dismantling it the following day. Although two (experienced) people are enough for erection, in windy conditions it was useful to have a third person to hold it once the roof canopy was in place. Knowing the exposed location, we bought the heavy duty pegs to go through the footplates and the ground bars to make sure the legs were correctly spaced and the structure rigid. We used one peg to secure the windward side leg and the other three as soon as the ground bars were in place. The pegs had a curved top that also kept the ground bars from rising up when the wind tried to bend the side panels. Each side has a long pocket for the ground bars and must have the bars threaded through. The bottom skirts are a great feature that stops wind blowing underneath. We did not need the water bag weights and the tie down kit is good quality.
Our old cheap gazebo, which we put up alongside, looked very sad in contrast! We are likely to buy a second Gala Tent for the event next year. To increase light, we might buy some extra side panels with windows. It would also make a good camping tent! Definitely worth the money.

Bought a top of the range gazebo 16 mts ago the tent was up all last summer taken down in September, put up again this year spring time and again taken down now
1st fabric as got really brittle and faded
2nd window side panel ripped on seam after a windy day didn’t expect that on £500 tent customer service said it’s not under warranty but offered me a discount of 10 % on a new one which I found totally unacceptable

The frames are good quality, however the feet are showing signs of rust , buy hey covered for 5 yrs but I guess not for that .
but the fabric isn’t I would expect it to last a bit longer than 2 rubbish British summers certainly not worth the £500+

Only just received product (after issues with delivery see later). So impossible to comment on quality of this, but based on previous order should be fine.
However...
- Item was in stock,
- ordered evening Friday 13th (should have known) September with next working day delivery
- arrived in depot Tuesday morning
-expected and tracked to arrive Wednesday.
- was not actually received until this morning 25th September.

...meaning I did not have parts ready for an important trade fair where i was to use the gazebo.

I do appreciate that delivery is not directly the responsibility of the supplier. But my purchase and transaction was with Gala and not the courier, so if the supplier cannot source a reliable local delivery company then I would likely consider purchasing from alternative suppliers in the future

After this 1star review, one of the customer service team members (Julie) called me and got to the bottom of my concern. She offered me to refund the whole amount of what I paid for. As a result, I do not need to pay the handling fee and the delivery cost they paid to sent the items to me. However, I suggest that the management will look into their website and to make appropriate improvement. This is to be more transparent to your customers.

Return Policy is like a robbery.
For future customers, you should be aware that the refund policy on their website is just the tip of the ice bergs. You need to check the link of their terms and condition before you buy anything from them, not just browse their website (i was deceived too). It is like a hidden surprise! Just so you guys know, you need to pay all the handling fee and the delivery they paid to send the items to you. Also you need to pay the courier to send back the item to them. This is just a warning before you make a purchase from this company.

I am very disappointed with your services on my last order.
Placed an order before 2pm Friday for Saturday delivery.
I was charged fir the products and the Saturday before 12 delivery ( nearly £35)
But did not receive the delivery and when checked it did not show timing..
Tried call you Saturday morning eventhough your message says you are open till 14.00 no response.
And no answer.
Only got a message fir DX today saying you booked for today 9.30 delivery. And that was after 10 am today.
Totally disappointed.
If this was not possible should have told me before taking the payment.

I have rejected the delivery.
Please refund my payment and fir the delivery.
I now have to think twice before ordering from Gala.
Diy and house if tents are providing more choices and better price with much better service.
I am not sure if I have chosen the right provider 12 years ago when I first started ordering from you.

Gala tent always provides good service and advice. It's great that they back up their products with the ability to purchase replacement parts for marquis.
