Our history

SECOM’s roots in the UK go back as far as 1918, when the family-owned Lodge Lock and Safe Company began providing security solutions.

Excellent service

The engineer knew exactly what he was doing & was very helpful and polite. He even apologised for coming earlier during the day than I had expected!

Slightly disappointing

Slightly disappointed about getting a quote from SECOM, mainly down to how my query was handled. From the get-go, I made it clear about our requirements, and this was not taken onboard during the survey. The most interesting part was being told SECOM would be cheaper, this is incorrect, they were the most expensive quote we received, despite only having basic keyholder response, two zones, and a smoke detector (we actually save going with ADT, having an All Inclusive service plan, and Police Response). Feedback wise, please listen to your customers requirements, and then realise when you quote an install fee of £1600 that it'll likely result in a 'No Thanks'.

I am a long term client

I am a long term client and ha ve mostly been happy with the service. Normally a letter arrives suggesting a date for the annual service and if I need to change it, it is up to me to telephone and change the date. For the first time I found a card saying that Secom had called and as I was out, it was up to me to reorganise.
I resented this and refused to pay the bill until the annual visit had been made. I considered this was a reduction in a standard of service.

Thank you for your feedback, Merrilyn. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced with your service visit.
We believe your comment relates to a visit that occurred in February of this year. At that time, we were experiencing a system issue where service letters were not being generated as they should have been, and unfortunately, we were unaware of this problem at the time. This issue has since been resolved.
We also have a system where clients can receive an email link with a proposed service date, giving you the option to easily reschedule if the date is not convenient and you have also been set up for this service.
We value you as a long-term client and appreciate your understanding as we continually work to improve our service.

I have been a customer for many years…

I have been a customer for many years and every year I have the same discussion with the accounts department! This year the engineer who came was amazing, he was polite and very informative and told me things I never knew or had been told. He gave me a log book which I’ve never had before, he explained everything. I was very impressed.

Absolutely unbelievable service

Absolutely unbelievable service, not only did they drive dangerously and act aggressively, they then acted aggressively upon greeting at the door. Led me to believe it was a scam, and got more aggressive when refused entry. Unfortunately had to report to the police, I was scared. Charged me for coming out to my property, and yet to be refunded. London area. Keep away!!
