Our history

SECOM’s roots in the UK go back as far as 1918, when the family-owned Lodge Lock and Safe Company began providing security solutions.

Growth and acquisitions led to its re-emergence as the Carroll Security Group – a major independent electronic security company.

In 1991, Carroll was acquired by SECOM Co Ltd of Japan, which has seen us go from strength to strength ever since!

Good engineer

Good engineer - thorough review. Thank you.
Made me think previous engineers were only doing a token job. Previous chap was with us no longer than 3 minutes!

Contract price doubled.

I have had a Rental and Maintenance contract with company since 1994. The last Annual Invoice More than doubled in price. When challenged I was told by the accounts department that the Directors had met and set the new price as it was a lost leader. I requested a copy of the contract agreement but they said their records didn't go that far
back. I wrote to the M D but didn't even get an acknowledgement. Buyer beware!
